HP w2408h - Hum / Buzz

Fort disturbing hum - sound from the right rear of the screen.

Brightness level affects the sound and it disappears to the brightness level of 100 (100%).

It's perhaps Backlight Inverter?

Pushing the monitor from back with the hand will be stifle this noise a little more.

Maybe it's the resonance?

I don't know that it's NOT in internal speakers.

The monitor settings are in default factory State.

So, how can I or solve you the problem.

This affects the life expectancy of the monitor?

Hello!

I was now at the bottom of this problem. And what I realized:

Problem: Hum / hum of HP (19-24 inches?) (models > 2008?) wide 'surface of mirror' screen.

Figure users: Brightness level that affects his 'pitch '.

This sound source: Inverter power and backlight (coil vibrance).

Question: Condenser filter bad or streamers or both.

Solution: HP will not fix this monitor but they will send you a brand newwarranty.

DIY solution: Fast: spray called "transformative varnish" to mount components close to the PCB so no vibration of the coil is possible. Best: Replacement of components (capacitors / coils). Warranty canceled if the varnish is used or components replaced or even follow removed case.

So call him directly if warranty HP support on the left. Otherwise, try a local tv repair shop or do-it-yourself (diy).

  • U2715H makes buzzing when the brightness is less than 85 ~.

My new monitor U2715H was beautiful, but makes an annoying Hum/Buzz sound. I found that I could get the sound to go by increasing the brightness above about 85. Given that this brightness level was too high for my application and the sound was distracting, I contacted Dell support and said it was a very unusual problem. They sent me a replacement monitor that I just was put in place. Unfortunately, the replacement screen suffers exactly the same problem! I found messages here to describe this same question in other models (U3011, U2312HM) a few years ago but have not found how / if the issues have been resolved subsequently. Any advice on getting a monitor which do not suffer this problem and/or technical explanations for why that should happen would be very useful.

A little more internet research gave a lot of information on this issue as well as possible workarounds:

I will try to adjust the brightness ~ 80 to remove the buzz and then use a software solution to reduce the observed brightness.  This seems as good as the appropriate brightness swing the OSD setting and eventually consume 10 to 20% more energy, but can be a viable compromise.

Dell Ultrasharp monitors so I knew there was a good quieter alternative to the U2715H, I would definitely try this, but the information I have suggests that this question may be present in 27 ".

  • Weird noise from VN7 - 792G

I bought the machine in June and he was silent, but now, we have heard a very low volume hum / buzz (a bit like a mosquito passng by your ear, except 3 octaves lower) more frequently. He comes from the right - about in the vicinity of the Enter key and performed intermittently for about maybe 2 or 4 seconds that the machine is actively processing data or update Web pages. It is not correlated with the fan turning power. Any ideas?

You have to disassemble the laptop to the point where you have the motherboard out. Remove the thermal unit from the motherboard and replace the thermal paste before reassembly with new thermal unit. It is useful for a little bit of noise from the fan?

Here is an example of the heat unit,

  • Dell A940 stopped after the loud bang

I've never had a problem with this printer so far. I started to print a page and he started as usual to make a loud bang. At that time there long light and the screen came out. I cleaned the cartridge of chrome and the MICR band. When I unplugged the power and then plugged it back it tries to start, but has a low hum/buzzing noise and nothing else. Any help would be great I bought several new ink cartridges for the A940. Thanks in advance!

  • Microphone sounds like a Robot.

My microphone works perfectly until today.

Randomly, he decided to sound like a robot when I talk and I hear a hum / buzz. So I uninstalled the driver (Realtek hd audio) and it re-installed. Now, when I speak, it starts with a bang then goes quiet and I sound like a robot.

I tried several to fix but nothing worked even more messages from Microsoft such as this will not help.

It is likely that the MIC himself material is a failure.

  • Buzz of noise in the tempo switch

My song has 4 different tempos. Every time that happens, occurs a humming noise. If I get all tracks FX behind it disappears. How can I keep the delay, but not the buzz?

    Thank you y´all.

Use automation for on/off switch of the delays to and after each change of tempo.

If that kills too late in the face of that time, and then introduce a Gain ahead of every delay, automate the Gain to cut admission to the delay when changing the tempo. Who will cut the whole track, however.

  • Satellite Pro L20 - persistent buzz

    Hello

My less than three days old L20 has developed an annoying hum coming from the upper right.

When turned on it is fine, then after half an hour or so a strong infatuation comes from this area if the laptop is moved upwards or downwards and less than an hour the buzz is a constant no matter what position it is. The only way to stop it is to turn the power off and leave - this would indicate a fan/cooling problem?
Is there something that can be done?

    Thank you.

    Hello J,

Since your laptop is a few days old only I strongly recommend that you return the original supplier for replacement. Laptop you should not do any humming noise apart from cooling fans that should light up periodically to cool the CPU.

    Kind regards

  • Portege Z930 there a noisy fan, buzzing like the Z830?

Someone at - it the Z930?

I wanted to know if the fan hums like the Z830. Is it quiet so you will hear only air or did you hear a buzzing sound when the fan is used?

    Thank you

    Good question.

It is a very nice machine.

Anyone know if this machine is also available in Europe?

  • BDP-S570 is a hum when outside noise

You wonder why this happens - any ideas? Of course I do not notice it when he plays, but when it is off, I certainly hear a sound of buzzing or humming coming from him.

Rather than fix it, it would be cheaper to buy a new device!

  • C50-A-1DV satellite makes strange static/buzzing noise

My brand new toshiba laptop is constantly producing a strange humming/static noise that seems to come from the fan.

I don't know if this is the case with all these models but it's pretty boring and I fear that something could be wrong with the laptop.

Please can someone help me on this one?
What can be the cause of the strange noise?

As I said it seems to come from the fan, but I'm not 100% sure.

Have you noticed this buzzing/static noise while turning heavy fan?

For me it of very difficult to tell if it s a good fan noise or unusual noises that may be related to problems of cooling module.

On the other hand, you are not sure if the noise comes from the fan, so I think we are groping in the dark to 100%

From my point of view of the few the laptop is new and if you don't know if there is a hardware problem, you should ask a favor for the engineer and check.

Mate sorry but at this point, I have no other 'solution' for you :(

  • Re: Satellite A100 reason stop then start the buzz

    Hello

I've had this laptop A100-200 for 18 months without any problem so far. Today it suddenly off, all lights still showing that it was still had power, but there was a disturbing hum. I turned off and then restarted, fine for another hour, the same thing happens again.
    Anyone had anything similar?

Have not heard of it, but it doesn't look good at all. Exactly the buzzing whence? Laptop computer or the AC adapter?
In any case, this should be verified by a local certified partner, if you ask me.

  • Taken helmet Mac Mini internal hum but works fine

My Mac Mini made headphones humming internal but works very well. The hum is not constant. When I boot it is quiet so if I play a sound in ANY format or any program that there is a strong buzz that starts and the kind of "" did ramp up the tone. If I stop then the sound of the source of the hum lasts almost exactly: 30secs and then all stops. Again, it is only through the headphone jack, the Interior is fine and works as usual.

I had plugged in a new audio line just before it happened... I wonder about a failure/problem of grounding. I have also used an IO just before Scarlett and the audio output. It is no longer connected.

I have "waved it a little" cleaned, tried headphones and speakers, disconnect the power source and replaced by another source and of course turned on again with and without the connected headphones.

It is a Mac Mini from 2012.

    Thanks for any help.

Could be a ground loop in your power connections. Try unplugging all unnecessary devices in power and to change the socket where the Mac is connected

  • Buzzing or yell sound

In the last two days, my iPhone 6 (using iOS 9.2) began to make a humming noise or screaming sound occasionally.  It seems to be related to the audio (usually when streaming, sometimes when you listen to voicemail, etc.).  For example, I will have listened audio successfully in the morning, but later in the day when I go to listen to something else, I get this buzz / squeaked sound.

So far, he appears to have eliminated when I turn the phone off and then on again, but it's pretty frustrating.

If anyone has experienced this?  Does anyone have ideas to eliminate this problem?

    Yes!

I can attest to this noise crowing as well.  I'm never sure of what triggers the noise, but it's really frustrating.  I noticed more when I use the sleep/wake button, and instead of his normal 'blocking', he would send this crowing noise.

The only thing I noticed to eliminate the problem is to turn off the phone, wait for a moment and turn it back on.

Am I still looking for any support of genius, because if I can't show them the problem, what's the point?
