  Thank you for your message.  To clarify, when you say that your printer is not recognized, do you mean that when you plug it in via USB it is not or not you can not install the printer?  If the printer does not appear after you have connected to your computer, try another USB port on your computer.  If the driver is the problem, you can click HERE for the latest print driver.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

  I connect to the web from my PC using the USB wireless adapter.
  I got a USB wireless adapter, 3Com® OfficeConnect® model product # 3CRUSB10075 Wireless 54 Mbps 11g Compact USB.
  Adapter does not work after that the PC was upgraded to win 7
  Victory cannot regonzie adapter, and I can't access the internet.
  I tried to install the lates 6.3.3.2 driver version, version of the 3.0.0.1x utility - but are not lacking.

  I have not checked on the 3com site any other version of the driver available, and no version to fit with win7 is available.

  Seems I have to go back to XP or buy a new adapter :(

  If they have a Vista driver, that should work, but if the adapter goes back to the days of XP and no further forward, you will probably need to get something more recent.

  Here's what I had to do:

  In my wifi settings, I changed the "allow your PC to be detectable by other PCs and devices on this network" off.  This change is Windows 10 think I was on a public rather than private network.  (Community of Windows)

  Second, I had to go to BitDefender under maps of firewall and configure an Exception for my wi - fi card when the type of network is home/office to the IP address of my printer. (BitDefender support)

  This explains why it worked... when I tried after adding my new computer on the network.  Then I started looking through settings (dangerous thing) and changed the setting of WI - FI for 'maximum security' in my mind.  Then I bought BitDefender...

I bought it at Best Buy, where the return for refund or is fifteen days.  I had HP printers for 20 years.  I am very disappointed.  I would like to return the HP printer.  I saw the information on a forum in recent weeks.  Please help me.  I need a reliable wireless printer.

  Check you manual user for the supported cards and compatible.

  If your printer and router are close to each other, I would recommend via ethernet to your printer to your router connection.  Then follow these instructions.

  If you need to connect the printer to the wireless router, because they are in different rooms, you can use a wireless print server, but I'm not sure it is worth the money and the headaches - just get a new printer wireless - IMHO, of course.

  Try to remove the printer and then add it again by opening the Preferences tab and then selecting «printers & scanners»

  From there, click on the sign less under the printer icon to remove the printer and then add again using the sign.

  This is often useful if you are currently outside experienceing printer issues regularly.

  If you still can't find the printer, I would try the steps with connected usb and if a connection is established, delete it.

  If the problem persists, restart your mac and try again, and if this does not help, then restart your router also.
