HP wireless TV Connect 2 and Windows 8.1

I have two kit and since I update to windows 8.1 both does not. Just keep saying Linking... to the TV. I have a HP DV6t - 2300 CTO with nVidia 320M. I've updated to the latest nvidia driver but still does not. Sometimes, windows detects the samsung tv as a second monitor. Any ideas on a solution?

The Solution: As noted earlier, in the control panel go into devices and printers... go down to the... made unspecified section right click on HP wireless transmitter and then select Properties. Go to the Hardware tab. In the section Highlight HID-compliant functions defined by the device vendor, and then click Properties of the device at the bottom. Click on disable device at the bottom. HP wireless transmitter and receiver connect correctly automatically.

  • Internet connection issues "Limited or no connectivity." and "windows could not find a certificate to log on the network.

I'm so unable to connect to the internet?

    Hello.

I'm so unable to connect to the internet.

Since I've renamed our WiFi network and add a WEP key, I have problems with wireless connection on my
Windows XP computer desktop, which is a Dell Dimension 4700.

The questions that I get connection are...

"windows could not find a certificate to log on the network.

    "Limited or no connectivity."

I did all the solutions I could try to fix the connection problem!

    1. once I received the message "limited or no connectivity", I click with the right button on the connection and click on repair. It is not always connect for me and I got the "limited or no connectivity message.»

    2. then, I disabled the network connection and then enabled. That no longer works.

    3. I tried to withdraw from the ordered list of connections, and it still doesn't work.

    4. I checked the driver manager, and initially the Ethernet driver was outdated and missing of its pilot. He had a yellow question mark with a black sign and yellow with an exclamation mark inside.

    5. I used DriverZone, downloaded the driver, installed and rebooted the computer after the installation of the it. Apparently, it worked. But I could not always connect.

6 I have ensured that I entered the correct WEP key, and then adjust the settings correctly. I did it like 10 times in a row and would not always connect.

    7. I tried to go to the command prompt and typed in IP Config/All and that's what I mean.

    Windows IP configuration
    Node type: unknown
    Active IP routing: no
    WINS proxy enabled: no
ETHERNET connection to the Local network card
State of the media: Media disconnected
Description: Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection
Ethernet card 2 wireless network connection:
    Suffix the connection-specific DNS: (EMPTY)

    8. after that, I typed the command: ipconfig/release
and then I got this error...

No operations can be performed on the connection to the local network, although it has its media disconnected.

    9. after that, I tried Googling for some solutions, and the solutions I found were not any use.
    A solution was

    10. opening of Services...
    Start | Run | Type: services.msc | Click OK |
Scroll down to and double-click Client DNS | Set to automatic on startup
    type |
Click apply | Click the Start button | When it starts, click OK
Do the same for the DHCP Client.
Do the same for the remote procedure call (RPC).

    and it still doesn't work.

    11. when I look in the menu network connections, I see my connection with a lock on the side, with a red X under the lock and key. In the description, I see not connected, protected by a firewall. How could I remove the internet connection firewall? I disabled the firewall and that did not work.

    12. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the network card and who does not work either.

It is not the network itself that is the problem.  It is not the modem or the cable. There are no disconnected son or something like that. We have other computers in the House and the internet works fine on other computers. As I said, since I renamed our WiFi network and added a WEP password, I had problems with connecting to my Windows XP computer.

My computer has updates that must be installed as well. Updates would fix the problem? I just need to have internet.

What should I do? Thank you for your time.

    Sincerely,

    Justin

Have you tried to set the value of the link speed/duplex mode? I had the same problem you describe. Your card is only capable of 10/100 communication.

  • Card wireless HP Pavilion m9340f and Windows 7 x 64

    Gist Message base:

Windows 7 x 64 driver for PCIe (Ralink, model number wn7600r) wireless card works.  However, encryption only works for open (no password), WEP (64 and 128 - bit encryption).  Does anyone know how to make the map function correctly under WPA-TKIP wireless?  Thank you!

    Hi all

I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem...  I got the idea of spiffy upgrade to Windows 7 and my wireless card will not connect to the router Netgear WNDR3300 under WPA or WPA-2, so I tried both AES and TKIP for both types of encryption. The reason why I don't think it's a driver problem is that the wireless card connects to the router to open w / no password and WEP (on the 64-bit and 128-bit encryption).  So, I wonder if anyone else: a) has managed to find how to do this job, or b) has an idea how to 'fix' it.

    Thanks in advance!

    SirChives

.. .well don't I feel stupid.  ... I have re-tried WPA2 - PSK AES, and it worked to connect to the desktop computer (using Windows 7 x 64) to the router.

As a sidenote, apparently drivers Vista x 64 will usually work for under Windows 7 x 64 wireless cards, if he is not taken in charge of native drivers already.

PS yaaay, time to go download/install all my programs!

  • Windows connection problems and "Windows could not log in the Windows Event Service.

September 14, 2014, I installed the hotfix for Windows (KB2590550).

When I try to log on to a standard user account (not Admin), I would get an error that might say something like "Windows could not connect to the Windows Service Service event".  I click OK and then get a totally blank screen showing on the arrow of the mouse (which can be moved).

Around this same time, when I was able to connect, I got a "not genuine Windows" pop up.  My windows 7 came factory-installed by Dell (Dec. 2011) and I got no re-imaging, re - install or repair since I got the computer.  I've also been running Symantec Endpoint Protection (version DoD) for 2011 as well.

When I login as administrator (different account), I get an error "Failed to connect to the Windows Event Service" or something like it in a control bar bubble popup.

I studied the Knowledge Base, and he said to apply the patch to KB2590550.

Since then, the question is still common and works (sometimes) when I reset the password for the standard user.  In addition, all updates of the operating system, patches, etc. have failed since then.

Now, I get occasional blue screens immediately as windows starts to load (just after the initial windows graphics) which triggers a reboot.

    Service Pack 1 is installed.

    Help, please!

    Hello

Thank you for the update on the issue.

If the problem still persists I suggest to run the SFC scan to check the integrity of the system and see what it finds.

The sfc/scannow (System File Checker) command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

We can check & repair missing and corrupt files by the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

  • Unable to connect to a wireless network for machine under windows 7.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad U450p with Intel Centrino 2 chipset.

The wireless card is Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Completely updated the driver (in order to solve the problem)

For some reason I can't connect to any wireless network. I don't think it's a problem of router, the router can connect to other devices (there is no MAC filtering). I also tried to connect to the hotspot from my phone.

I can see all available wireless networks, so I think that the scanning function does not work correctly. I just can't connect to one of the networks. I tried to change the password wireless, even tried to disable wireless security.

    Thanks in advance!
