hpk110: mouse jumpy

When I move the mouse, the pointer on the screen jumps in all directions.  It is very flickery.  This probably has only recently developed.  Can someone advise what's happening?

Hi again - apparently you can not recognize the model number because the seller changes it - something to do with the rotation of stocks apparently.

Anyway problem solved with their tech dept, had to uninstall a program that has been who collide with Windows.

Thank you for trying to help though.

  • Jumpy mouse pointer

I use a mouse (not wireless), and recently the pointer becomes nervous. I tried to change the speed of the pointer, but in vain. Any ideas on how to fix?

I guess you should not surrender the mouse as being problematic.

It's a laptop? When you say jumpy do you mean that the pointer appears to go to random places on the screen, perhaps as you type etc. If If you have good touchpad driver/software installed (for example, "driver synaptics") because it often has the sensitivity options and the touchpad is generally less sensitive to random jumps.

Don't know if something similar would apply to a wired mouse and desktop sensitivity to the subject.

If not a laptop then I think you should try a different mouse, if it is to eliminate it.

  • Jumpy mouse

I bought a new computer HP Pavilion Eleite HPE series - windows 7 64 bit.  I bought a 6000 Microsoft Wireless Mobile mouse to go with it.  It was going fine until I put the HP Wireless Elite Keyboard with it.  Now, the mouse is jumpy.

As the mouse, but LIKE the keyboard because it is virtually silent.  But I want them to work together.  I wasn't expecting the problems of a mouse for $40.

    Any ideas?

When I look at Human Interface Devices in Device Manager, I see a list of devices. Here are below with some of their properties in the columns (although MGFR and LOCATION version/date are not part of the displayed list - you have to dbl - click the device to get this info).
All devices are "working properly" according to Device Manager. But the movement of the mouse on the screen is sporadic and irregular - jumpy.  New battery does not solve the problem.
This list has duplicates? Or is the apparent redundancy necessary? Some drivers are old. Others are recent.

    Hello

I had the same problem and after replacement of the keyboard, everything was ok. Of course, the battery pointing device was defective.
If you have this problem since the first day why you didn't call your local dealer and test with another unit?

By the way: you have the same problem if the pointer of the battery is disabled?

  • The magic mouse has suddenly got very slow

As the title says, my mouse works OK, but the answer is really slow and sometimes the cursor jumps and jerks on.

I tried to clean it, put new batteries and totally forget and then by reconnecting it to Bluetooth, but it still happens. I even bought another Bluetooth mouse not expensive £10 and it works very well, but obviously this is not as nice as the mouse Magic Mouse from Apple.

Is - this somethiing to do with El Capitan?

    I am running OSX 10.11.3 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010), 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5.

Thanks in advance for any help.

This looks like a problem of interference for me.   You have introduced a new electronic in the vicinity.  Don't forget to turn off your cheap mouse when you do all the tests.   See this document for further assistance.

  • Envy 17 3270NR: Envy 3270NR - mouse problems

    Help, please!

the touchpad on my envy 17 is so imprecise / jumpy.  I can move the pointer in the right place, but when I click on the mouse button it jumps off the side and selects something else.

This problem can be resolved via a patch or what I need to replace the touch pad?

I think you missed a step between step 4 and 5, you will need to press the ESC key before you can press f10.

Except that there was an improvement, thank you

  • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

  • My magic mouse has stopped working.   Is there a battery that I need to replace?

My magic mouse stop working.   Do I have to replace a battery?  If so, how?

If it's a Magic Mouse 2 then you reload by using a standard USB cable Flash. The port is at the bottom of the mouse. If it's a Magic Mouse, then you must replace the batteries. Coverage is at the bottom of the mouse.

  • New Magic Mouse (wireless) works erratically

New Magic Mouse (wireless) said low battery but it does not use a battery? How to charge it?

The Apple article below should help.

  • the magic mouse disconnects regularly

Since last week my Magic Mouse is losing connection with my iMac (OS X Sierra) pretty regularly--several times each hour, sometimes more often - the connection is only lost for 5-10 seconds, but it's a lot of time when you're trying to work. Anyone else had this problem and had been able to find a solution?

If your Magic Mouse is version 1 (with batteries), it won't be to fully integrate with Sierra.   You can buy Magic Mouse 2 for that.   Because all future operating systems need, you may as well buy now.
