When I stop, I get a dialog box error saying that hpqgpc01.exe Application error occurred at a particular address.

When I close the dialog box, complete closure.

What can I do to fix this?

Tom R. posted what worked for me:

For 64-bit systems. But you're probably using a 32-bit file system. So, lets try it. Load your printer disk in your CD drive, then go to: START, control PANEL, PRINTER. Then right-click on the printer and select Properties. Go to the SHARING. Click CHANGE SHARING OPTIONS. Click CONTINUE. Go down to the DRIVERS and click ADDITIONAL DRIVERS.  X 64 is 64-bit driver, but don't forget that you probably have the files loaded in your X 86 file, which is 32-bit. Let the X 64 single file, but click on the X 86 file. Then close the program. When you return, the file should show Nokia X 64 & X 86 as Type 3 User Mode INSTALLED-YES. When you turn off the computer you will be always see the file hpqgpc01.exe pop up as you will need to restart the computer for the change to take effect. But after that, you should not see the error sign on your next stop down. Hope that helps. Let me know if it works for you.

  • Satellite P750-13N starts slowly

    Hello

I bought a new computer for my birthday earlier in the month. I installed all my software and transferred all my data from my old laptop and I noticed after a week or so that the start-up is time consuming.

Basically, once that windows loads, theres a circle over the wireless icon and it seems to take ages to locate my wireless network. I try to load firefox, but it dosnt open for at least 5 minutes, and nothing responds for about 4 or 5 minutes.

I tried to do a clean boot, and although it seemed better, I can't seem to locate the problem. I uninstalled AVG and tried to uninstall most of the bloatware without success. If I do a clean install, it will be the second time I did and I really don't want to go that route.

Can someone tell what could be wrong with my laptop.

    Hello

Your laptop starts slowly because your system loads a lot of junk at the beginning.
First of all, I recommend turning off some process that would be loaded while the laptop starts.

Launch msconfig (in the search type msconfig) and go to the Startup tab.

Now you can uncheck certain processes is not necessary.
I would like to disable all Apple processes... they don t had to be loaded at the beginning

    + C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\distnoted.exe +
    + C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\APSDaemon.exe +
    + C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe+
    + C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\ubd.exe +.
    + C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\iCloudServices.exe +.

    Also turn off steam.exe

After restarting again uncontrolled processes should not be loaded

As a download after the CCLeaner, install this and clean the system and the registry using this tool.

Original title: problem of spyware as Possible here.

    SYPMTOM:

The taskbar seems to blink once a second about.  Owner thought that the laptop would die.

It is a sony vaio laptop running windows vista Home premium.

After he looks fixedly for some time, we have seen that it is not a screen problem at all.  There is a popup or window opening and closing almost instantly.  Text can be seen in the bar of tasks but not identified.

We made updates to date and scan with malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy, microsoft security essentials and same trendmicro housecall.

Each scan found it of own problems and fixed at all.

If after all these analyses the popup still happens under normal windows and as well safe mode.

For those of you extremely technical, you can read the log file, that we have created, for others you simply skip all this technobabble.

Well we have figured this out finally.

The laptop screen is actually a failure.
  • svchost.ext problems

I noticed one of my svchost.exe process went a little funky, after that I had to do a system restore to take a bad driver for my graphics card.  He started to eat 30-100% of my CPU usage.  After a day of reacent he has returned down to a maximum of 50% of the CPU usage and is enabled by running the windows update.  So far, he did install time extremely long, I'm constantly late to get an update to install and go beyond creating a system restore point. Im running the eddition 64 bit Windows Vista business.

Here is some information and any help would be greatly apriceiated.

Problem solved, after a bit of research and talk to some local technicians, and we saw it happen.  The system restore ruined a parameter that does not hurt the system. the solution was eather leave it is and putting day make sure to end it, repair windows or reinstalling itself on another hard drive.  Option 1 is what im on since its only activated by windows update.  Automatic updates are disabled and I can stop the process when it acts upward with a problem.

  • HP Pavilion a6745f stop error message

    Hello again!

I'm new to the forum.  I've known a stop error message regarding hpqgpc01.exe.  He says that the program is unable to put end to, click to complete.  I recently bought an HP F4440 AIO.  I tried a solution of a post here. but it did not work.  Anyone has had or has this problem that can point me in the right direction to eliminate this problem?  Anyone know what this file is, exactlly?  AIO has to work properly?  I read a lot of articles and messages about problems with the work of the AIO with Vista.  I really like the IOA and it meets my needs very well, but I can't bear this message popping up every time I shut down my machine!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Media Center with Vista Service Pack 1 (64-bit), Athlon X 2 (B) 5050e 2.6 GHz (45W).

Nice day!  Sorry for not responding sooner, but I just wanted to make sure that your solution worked for me.  And he did.  And I really, really appreciate you taking the time to answer.  Although, I think I found a solution, which, allows all functions to be used without the message annoying "shutdown" appearing.  In a previous post by J. Rhoades(posted 3/28/08) and it reads as follows:

I got this info from a technician of the HP technical support:

    Go to start > run > services.msc

Find 'HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service', change the startup type to disabled, and then stop the service

I must tell you, it worked like a charm... So far!  But, if he comes back, I'll be sure to post if/when this happens!  Thanks again loads!

For the record, my questions to HP about this case was void avenue.  I made the mistake in using the Chat, in which you ask someone, I suppose, is in another country and it takes for always answering your questions and they seem to be not very well paid on questions about HP products.  So, I am very grateful, there are people who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with others.  Looks like we have to depend on 'other '!  Thank you all!

  • iTunes.exe found entry point

After the last update error ITunes.exe entry point not found

avcfplayersetclientenforcedexternalprotectionmethod could not be found in the dynamic link library c:\program files\iTunes\itunescore.dll - I download windows 10 iTunes 64 install and ran repair - repair has not fixed the problem

Entry point errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, and then repair the component it is programs and features Control Panel. iTunesCore.dll is part of the main application to iTunes and it will usually be in iTunes C:\Program or C:\Program Files (x 86) \iTunes.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

More information area has direct links with the current and recently built in case you have problems to download, need to revert to an earlier version, or try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) release as a work around for performance issues, or for compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party on 64 - bit systems.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

Your library must be affected by these measures, but there are links to tips of backup and recovery elsewhere in the tip of the user.

If the problem persists and you have a 64-bit system try for the old version of video cards which is a 64-bit Installer for most of the 32-bit code, similar to all 64 bit iTunes up to 12,1 versions.

  • FirefoxPatch.exe

Wednesday 16 December 2015 my AVG Internet Security scan weekly all computer has notified me that I had 2 horse of Trojan Inject3/SGL on C:\Users\Administrator\Dowloads. One was FirefoxPatch.exe and the other was FirefoxPatch (1) .exe. I noticed others have problems with the "patches". Please give me a detailed explanation of why it happened and how you ensure that I WON'T receive any Trojan infection in the future. We always clear history run a cleaning disc and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. FYI, if the explanation is not satisfactory for me, my work, CIT, and my daughter-in-law who is the Cloud Manager Advanced Services of the Web host company; with the guarantee that this kind of problem is fixed or any patch of Firefox will not allow an incident of this magnitude happening again, I will look for a NEW provider of web browser.

Mozilla.org or the web browser Firefox has something to do with this false FirefoxPatch.exe, FAKE Yes.

Mozilla is alone in that Firefox updates internally in Firefox (using a file .mar) or download from www.mozilla.org and www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

Firefox is not only for Windows but also Mac OSX and Linux, so updates are not made through a .exe, especially not those served of sites chosen at random outside mozilla.org.

So-called FirefoxPatch .exe is recent (was showing upward for round 1 1/2 to 2 months now) crooks are used to feed less experienced Windows and or Firefox users to convince them it is an update for Firefox when it's really something that can install the nasty CryptoLocker under Windows if the person starts this fake firefoxpatch .exe.

If its possible you and or someone downloaded this file twice at some point and then forgot about if everything goes well and not actually run this .exe.

  • 42 Firefox firefox.exe leash * 32 process open after it is closed

Every time I close Firefox 42.0 it leave a firefox.exe * 32 open process. If I open & close Firefox 10 times, I'll have 10 occurrences in the Windows Task Manager. They are always different sizes. Using Windows 7.

Solved. Free Download Manager extension is causing the problem. Disable it and not more than left - open Firefox process.

Hello, I have problems with Firefox crashes immediately after clicking on its icon.

Firefox version is 41.0.2.5765, Windows exception code c0000005 (000497e8) the defective module ntdll.dll, version 6.3.9600.18007.

Safe mode, the profile manager crashes too. I tried to do a fresh install which did not help...
After that, I deleted my profile files, deleted temporary files, reinstalled Firefox, restarted the PC - problem persists.

If the problem has been fixed. For all those who might happen to fall on this post:

Firefox crash is caused by a problem of compatibility between Anti-Exploit Malwarebytes and Kaspersky Anti-virus. This problem has been resolved already my Malwarebytes sometime there are, but a recent update of Kaspersky AV brought. Can be solved by installing the latest beta version of Malwarebytes (1.08).

To identify this issue I used this guide:

  • DfVuBrowserPlugin.exe will not run on 64-bit v.41. reports restaur頳era file corrupted - it works on old Xp

I used LizardTech DjVuBrowserPlugin50.exe on my old XP PC and recently tested on a laptop.
My new PC has 64-bit Firefox 41 and using 'install module file' produces a message saying
"This add-on has not been not installed because she seems to be corrupted.

The answer is to put npdjvu.dll in the Mozilla Firefox plugins directory, then turn it back on. Open the menu (the right hand of the menu bar icon), and then select Add-ons. Scroll to Viewer DjVu Plugin and change the "Application activation" status to "always enable".
Have had no problems since, while I installed LizardTech Djvu Solo and DjVu Control, which contains DjVuViewer.exe

  • I've updated Firefox, another file (exe type) have also downloaded. There is no exact date, just the day. I can't open it.

    This is the file: https://s3.amazonaws.com/turbo-bundles/windows/e3231ef3418f60951e7d0ff44ed9f476/TurboYourPC_Setup.exe
Can you help me to explain what it's for? I have a lot of problems with changes apparently not allowed in my computer settings.

Looks like you fell for a fake update notification. Do not attempt to install this TurboYourPC_Setup.exe program, it may be malicious.

  • Mozzilla not respounding high cpu use plugin - container.exe computer is totally locked

I start up firefox, and go new. Sometimes it allows me to watch for a while. without warning mozilla not respounding computer is completely locked. I try to stop the program (mozilla) sometimes it allows me, and other times it takes several tries to stop. Mozilla said plugin - container.exe CPU high usage. Happened several times in recent weeks. I updated several times without success.

Like most of the commonly used web plugin, Flash is the most likely the cause. I don't know why the problems increased with Flash with the combination of Firefox 41 and 19 Flash. I think that people who work.

For now, I suggest the following to minimize potential problems with Flash in your troubleshooting:

    (1) to avoid unnecessary pain on the sites where the Flash is not really essential, try to set the Flash on Click-to-Play (Ask 'activation'). This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

To set 'Ask to activate', open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

With this setting, when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following values: a link in a gray rectangle dark in the page or an information bar sliding between the toolbar and in the page area.

The plugin notification in the address bar icon usually resembles a little Lego block, dark gray. (If it is red, Flash must update.)

The delay in the activation of Flash can help distinguish between the problems caused on the initial page load, put in folds and script activation vs Flash/loading bar.

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification! He will just stand here in case you want to use it later.

    (2) consider rolling back at the end of the extended support of Flash 18. We make the security updates, which you can find if you scroll down half way down this page: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html - it's for plugin-based browsers, MSI or EXE format should work.

Most likely, you need to remove Flash 19 before this installer works. This article has a link to the uninstaller program: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/.../uninstall-flash-player-windows.html.
