HTML in LOV

Hello

If the values in DB (for example, the 'Name' column) contains HTML tags like ' < SUP > < / sub > ', is it possible to display the values in LOV (I use this column as a display value in LOV) correctly (do not escape HTML). If it is, how I realize this.

Thank you.

Version of the APEX?

If the values in DB (for example, the 'Name' column) contains HTML tags like ' < SUP > < / sub > ', is it possible to display the values in LOV (I use this column as a display value in LOV) correctly (do not escape HTML). If it is, how I realize this.

How the LOV is rendered? According to the HTML specification Select options in the list can only contain the text, not other HTML elements. See the following threads for previous discussion of the present:

  • {: identifier of the thread = 898835}
  • {: identifier of the thread = 1338180}

Some versions of the APEX renders HTML elements in a pop - up LOV.

    • Trying to access a LOV of in a form of HTML text area

I'm having a great time to learn...

      I have several master/detail Pages.

The first page is the tabular list, only not for editing.

The second page has a single record on top, with records of related details below.

Only the record seems to be in a text HTML (type area). And the user interface model is set to "No Template"

I wish that the fields in the form to be drop-down lists. I did the LOV in shared components, but, when I change the form region, I have no possibility to designate a LOV.

I think I have to change something about the section of the form, but I don't know what...

      Thank you-
      Marion

      Hello

You must apply the LOV to one of the elements within the form region. Changing the text that needs to be changed and you can then change the element to the list type 'select' in the parameter "display as" for the element. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and you get list of values settings. As you have created a list of values through the shared components, it should appear under 'Named LOV', so you can select it.

    • Is this a bug? HTML is not escaped in the conditional read only LOV page elements

Then test my application for injection HTML filling HTML for each column in my data injected datamodel HTML running when a field only LOV ready, I noticed

I have dynamic LOV in use in my form, so their share, users can select. That sometimes I don't want to make them able to change a value, they chose earlier.

For this reason I condtionalu readonly my LOV. by using the conditional read only an option for the items on the page.

That's when a dynamic LOV made readonly HTML code inside is done instead of escaped

is this a bug or is it intentional?

At least, I think I should be able to choose the behavior.

      Geert

Geert - Thanks for the info. I think that's not a bug. With the read-only option, it displays the data as it would for a display text (does not save the State) items for which source of HTML element, that is, unescaped. If you want the text escaped by using your dynamic lov query simply use htf.escape_sc:

      Select htf.escape_sc ('data') d, 1 r of the double

    • How to change code html for standard pages; update of plugins?

When I go to check plugin firefox, the entire html page (Yes, long pages of phrases highlighted blue and black type. plain and absolutely no way to understand what I'm doing) is the same for yahoo answers (in which case the sentence blue-options and then cover the entire page, so I can't even read the question and answers) themes firefox page (once again top filled with blue highlights and black characters), including the firefox support page where I wanted to ask this question. I am currently using chrome for web browsing (if not, how can I do anything? the entire page has been crazy!), but I want to go back to firefox. It may be noted that there is no effect on google mail, facebook, pinterest, and most of the other pages except for wordpress that all of a sudden I can't access, which I suppose it's possible maybe because of this problem of Web pages in firefox, in the form of unfathomable html. One can also note that despite the download of the latest version of java, java seems no affect on my computer or my browsers. I use an obsolete computer - Windows XP, the version of w.. However, as I said, Chrome continues to bring Web pages as firefox should. I'd love to this problem to be solved for me to be able to resume using fire Fox; to use plugin check, use firefox themes and use the support of mozilla. I hope that you think much about it and come back with a resolution! Sincerely, molasses.

    • CTRL + S changes HTML content

When I press ctrl + s (or navigate to the menu item to 'save'), the browser saves the page to a file. This is the expected behavior, and I love it! However, it seems to change the HTML content.

      For example:

If I save a page that contains the links like this:

      < a href = "google.com" > < /a > Google

      They turn out like this:

      "< a href ="google.com"> < /a > Google.

Do not see the difference? The quotes to change of single-phase double. Although often it is not serious, I'm performing a regex search on the file and I downloaded it so I wouldn't have to go search for it on the server each time. It would be nice if there was an option to create an exact copy of the page.

Is it available? Or could it be created?

      Thank you!

If you use the "Web Page, complete" Firefox needs to change the source because that link to files saved locally must be corrected and therefore Firefox links formats.
If you use "Web Page, HTML only" while Firefox does not need to do.

    • Trying to simply open a .html file using file:// on Linux - it is adding an extra slash and do not find the file

Ideally, I would like to be able to launch Firefox from my Linux command line and just open a file html on my hard drive. Not knowing the exact syntax and do not receive a love on my first attempts, instead, I launched Firefox and typed file://path/to/myfile.html in the address bar. However, instead of seeking to "path/to/myfile.html" Firefox is adding an extra slash and declare that it does not find ' / path/to/myfile.html'. I tried a few variations but seem not to be able to work around this problem.

      Any suggesstions?

The file: Protocol takes 3 slashes after the colon for some reason any.

Is your shell allow you to right click on the file and open it in Firefox? That would be the quick and dirty way to discover the path that prefer Firefox.

    • Html and css site design

      Hello

Does anyone have a nice easy way to create widget BB pages in a normal browser before moving a Widget? I'm going nuts making a tweak, debugging of pressing, in expectation of the build to succeed, checking my widget, tweaking some css more etc etc.

I'm sure I saw an article somewhere on how to do it outside of the Simulator, but I'll be damned if I can find it again

      any help much appreciated

      see you soon

      Lee

The easiest way that I do is the following:

      (1) put my source of the widget on a shared folder on a web server

      (2) set my config.xml file to have its starting point to the page on my web page server

      (3) whitelist the domain where my source of the widget is on my web server

      (4) adds a Menu item "Refresh" in a common *.js file do a refresh of the standard browser

      (5) to build and run the widget in the Simulator

So I can make all the settings in HTML and CSS I love and you simply press the element menu to update in the Simulator.

The only time wherever I need to re - build, it's if I modify a config.xml file.  Then when I'm satisfied, I simply change my config.xml file to package resources locally and make a final test.

    • BlackBerry smartphones WHERE is the function of 'new' 4.5 HTML e-mail? !

I've updated my AT & 8120 T with 4.5 via the download page RIM for AT & T devices. He installed and maintained very well. I read on the page of BB/RIM about 4.5 it is supposed to actually, FINALLY, have display html email now... Well, I'm here for you say... No... always the same view html not horrible to my incoming emails. I looked through all the options of e-mail and don't see anything turn on html either.

Guess it's back to the use of Empower.

      WHERE is this promised novelty?

PS - I love how all the other 'new' stuff like ID music and Streaming music costs $, when things like this were free on the iPhone forever now.

That's where.   First, you will need to return your service books.  Secondly, in the messaging options, under e-mail settings you should now see "Enable HTML email" select Yes.

What is already in your Inbox will always be like it was before, but with reference to your new service books email will be in HTML.  Only downside is that you need to go in the menu once you are in the email and select 'get the picture' or 'get images '.

      Hope this helps you.

    • Variable binding defined in LOV

      Hi, I use JDev 11.1.1.7

I have a VO (FundingNameVO) which takes in bind variable.

FundingNameVO is used as LOV in an another VO (ProjectVO) for a FundingName attribute.

ProjectVO also has an attribute FundingSource has also a LOV.

When FundingSource is selected, the value must be sent to the liaison FundingNameVO variable to determine the LOV to display for FundingName,

How to pass the FundingSource value to the variable of FundingNameVO binding?

      Thank you.

      Hello

If the value of the variable binding from attribute ProjectVO follow these steps:

in tab display accessor is ProjectVO, you have added an instance of FundingNameVO, click the view accessor on Edition, then in the open Panel, you see the bind variable, set the value of the variable binding with the good ProjectVO attribute name

      If not check this: http://www.jobinesh.com/2011/03/initializing-bind-variables-in-query.html

      Hi Experts,

It is not possible using a LOV, but it is simple to implement.

1 Add the command formatting value NR as a column in the report query, called ORDER_NR_DISPLAY.

      2. set the display hidden column [Column] ORDER_NR_DISPLAY type so it does not appear in the report.

      3. change the original ORDER_NR column and set the property Expression HTML #ORDER_NR_DISPLAY #.

      Hi Experts,

I've had two articles as below: -.

      https://blogs.Oracle.com/ADF/entry/combo_lov_how_to_display

      I did the procedure below.

I have a ProjectId attribute in my VO.

Created a transient ProjectName attribute, passivation = true editable = always.

Created a ViewAccessor on the MainVO.

Created a LOV on ProjectName ProjectName mapped in the configuration to the accessor of the view section with ProjectId.

      Changed the ViewRowImpl.java.

I get the error when you run the below request form.

      Object projectId = getAttributeInternal (PROJECTID);

      String projectName = null;

      If (projectId! = null) {}

Try this also on the actual page (to remove some bug in AM tester)

About the Houston-25152 error: call the constructor for the class oracle.jbo.Key is not allowed.  See this thread: Jdev 12.1.3: Houston-25152: call the constructor of class oracle.jbo.server.SequenceImpl is not allowed (WITH HR TEST CASE!)
