HTML5 Web database is supported for BB 10...

I think that W3C deprecated webdatabase. What other database options are WebWorks BB applications?

Hello!

You can use webdb without no problem, although it is deprectated as you say.

During the BB10Jam, I heard one of the speakers IndexDB will be supported by WebWorks, but it is still a work in progress. In fact, I think that it is a construction site in the W3C too

So I started a playbook application that need a SQL database, what are my options?  BlackBerry plan to continue supporting the web database, even if you can't support html5 in the future?

Is - this somethig, I'd be worried?

I think that you are safe to use for applications that target the OS 6.7 and Tablet OS. The advantage of using SQL, it is that it will be easy to migrate to IndexedDB as soon as RIM supports.

How will I know if my Adobe Cs6 Design Web Premium license is for one or two computers. I can´t get any online support

Your license allows you to have the software enabled on both machines at any time.  If you need to have on another you would need to disable one of the two machines before you activate the new installation.

  • "The installer has encountered an error.  Contact Customer Support for assistance. "CS4 Web Premium

A few years ago, my company bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium.  He was loaded on three computers and worked well.  One of these computers recently had to wipe and reinstalled everything.  CDs for Adobe CS4 have remained safely in their case and stored, but when I tried to install the programs today gave me the error message "Setup has encountered an error.  Contact Customer Support for assistance. »

I don't know what is the error, but I was wondering if there was another way to charge these programs?  Maybe downloading them and using the serial number assigned to the CDs?

    Thank you!

You can also download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Since you mention three machines, it could mean you have a volume license (standard license is two machines).  If so, you will need to acquire information files on the following link...

  • Require the browser Plugin with XFA Support for Government Web Sites

Most of the Government sites I need to use on a regular basis now publishes all their forms to PDF with XFA, a popular this time of year is the income tax.  This is reasonable, because there is no generally available to this end alternative file format.  However, Adobe provides is no longer a browser plugin Acrobat for Firefox or Chrome on Linux.  I cannot access these electronic forms.  I tried using the plug 9.5 Acrobat is no longer supported in, but it is broken in the latest version of Firefox (printing does not work).  There is no other plugin I can find that supports PDF with XFA forms.  How can I regain access to these forms.  When I try all I get a message telling me to install the plugin from Adobe Acrobat (nonexistent).

My last word: I discovered Adobe have created a road map to get away from delivery of the XFA form where it is not supported.

    According to https://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/kb/xfa-forms-firefox-chrome.html

"ES4 LiveCycle support for rendering in HTML5 XFA forms, such as forms can be opened in browsers that support HTML5, including those running on mobile devices like the iPad. The rendering of the HTML5 forms maintains available to the form design and supports most logical form (for example, JavaScript, form calc and form validations) incorporated in the XFA form template. In this way, your technology investments in XFA forms are easily carried over to devices where the functioning of the Adobe Reader plugin is not possible. »

If the creators of XFA forms should be knowing this.
