Hybrid graphics driver after reinstalling Windows 7

Hello.

I bought my laptop (Pavilion dm3-2015er) with Windows 7 already installed. I used it for awhile, but then decided to install another copy of Windows 7 that I had in my possession, in order to be able to redistribute space between disks in the system and remove some HP software. So I formatted the whole hardrive (with all the tools of recovery) and installed the new Windows.

Now I realyze I probably shouldn't have done that.

I installed all the drivers for my laptop from the HP website. Most of them work very well.

The main problem is the driver for my video card. My laptop has two video cards, but now he sees only one of them:

The driver from the HP website does not help. As well as all the drivers from the site Web of AMD.

My main question is to make a second video card works?

If there is absolutely no way to make this work, can I get the old version of Windows somehow?

Hello:

You cannot use the AMD drivers, I don't think.

Uninstall the graphic drivers you have previously installed and restart.

Then install the graphics driver.  I disassembled the driver on your laptop support page and there is no driver for the HD 5430 in there.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-85726-2 & CC = US & DLC = in & LC = on & os = 4063 & Product = 5046584 & sw_lang =

Then, if it always your silkscreen with 4200 of low power projection upward and the gpu to high power, appearing as a Standard VGA adapter, try this...

Go to Device Manager and click on the standard VGA need driver.  Click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp49464.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

Then restart.

I hope it will be, and you will see the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 graphics card adapter.

Are there other missing drivers such as SMBus Controller?

After running dxdiag, it says that there is no sound card.  Any help would be appreciated.

After having reinstalled XP did you download and install the audio drivers?

    Download drivers

Visit the manufacturer's Web site and select your model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download drivers for your model if they have drivers for your version of Windows. Download the driver (s) and follow the instructions to install - the process may vary with different manufacturers, so I can't give you exact directions.

  • Impossible to update after reinstalling Windows 7

I have a computer Dell XPS 8300. When I bought the computer I bought a reinstall of Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit DVD with key code. I upgraded the computer to Windows 10, but repeated difficulties experienced with the installation of the updates. The last update, I have installed produces a blank screen on the computer. I decided to replace the two hard drives in this computer with the 1 TB SSD.   I replaced the drive and reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate. Everything except the Windows Update works fine. I'm unable to update this computer.  When I click on update Windows I get update with scrolling green picture screen in the toolbar icons, but nothing happens.  I'm not worried reinstalling Windows 10, given the problems that I had.  Dell says that this computer has not been tested for compatibility with Windows 10.

I was surprised that Windows 7 has made request not to be activated after installation.  I right click the Start button in Windows and selected properties, but there was no indication that I need activate this version of Windows 7.  I have the key code and I did not change the motherboard. I don't understand why the Windows Update program does not work, or what I can do to solve the problem. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I was unable to activate Windows 7.  I tried the Windows 7 update problems difficulty in the Windows Control Panel without success. Someone at - it solutions to this problem? Thank you for your help.

  • How much time after reinstalling window 7 32 Home Premium it take before that receive updates?

    * Original title: update Windows 7

How long after reinstalling window 7 32 Home Premium does it take before that receive updates.

Should be immediately the minute that an Internet connection is detected. I would advise that you install updates Windows Update batch well. There are about 300 post SP1 updates, more if you have reinstalled the version Windows 7 RTM.

My recommendation would be to install updates in batches, these 5 at a time, exclude the hardware/driver updates. Avoid installing a set of updates for Microsoft Windows and Office at the same time. Also, try to install the first small updates. Avoid installing things like the .NET Framework and SQL Express updates.
Whenever you install updates (it's a chore, but it guarantees a more reliable experience). Try to start the Microsoft Office updates for programs such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Another thing, try to download the updates, and then install them. When you are prompted to restart, disconnect from the Internet and restart your computer.
To proceed with the installation of additional updates.
If the continuous computer to become unresponsive, try the following:

You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page.  But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:
How to reset the Windows Update components
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058
Suggest you download and save the Fixit.  Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista/Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously.  Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode.  Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers.  If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode.  Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.
I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.
  • Internet slowdown on a PC after reinstalling windows 7

Thus, as part of my COMPUTER classes, I had to show I could maintain a computer. Then I took mine apart and put back together, checked it worked then wiped the HARD drive and reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64 bit version. It is up and running now, but the speeds I get from my internet connection is incredibly slow.

My main PC (that I'm having issues with) got up to 2 MB download speed until I reinstalled. Now, I have gone on speedtest.net and discovered that a ping takes 1074ms, I have a download speed of 0.66 Mbps and upload of 0.19. My laptop on the other hand, (both using the same network without wire in the same room on the same desktop) 30ms ping, D/L 14.97 and 0.81 upload speed. I tested it several times, making sure that the two ping the same destination, but the results are always the same.

I reinstalled the driver wireless twice, I reinstalled the LAN connector twice and I have reset the BT homehub twice again the speed didn't get closer than two days ago. I spent many hours fishing trawl a few forums looking for advice, but I can't find any solution that helped. I tried a wired connection, I used invites them to drop and to renew the INVESTIGATION period. The only thing I noticed which seems strange to me is that neither of my a IPV6 connections.

Can someone help with this problem?

    Important notes:

Antivirus: Data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

Internet Explorer: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

When you disable the Antivirus: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.
