• People, Mail, and calendar App: are they necessary?

  I currently use Windows Live Mail to all my email needs, but when I get an email I also get a notification pop up in my Windows mail application. I can't uninstall windows mail app without also losing my agenda and people app as they seem to be connected, which makes no sense to me. That being said, if I uninstall the application of e-mail, calendar and people, this will affect how to maintain my contacts using Windows Live Mail? Honestly, I don't really need the calendar app or by mail, but I have to maintain my contacts and if the people soft is the only way to do it, then I am obliged to keep these aps.

  This will not affect you at all.  You can simply delete those and exercise using the Windows Live Mail program normally.   Live Mail program also has your contacts too (look at the bottom left corner, then click on the symbol to address book).

  Or if you want to keep them but just to disable the notification of the pop-up window, you can do it too.  No harm anyway.

  After that, your inbox should already work! But in my Situation, I was not able to send mails from my Apple-Mail account. To resolve this problem, I played a bit with the boxes about Athentification settings:

  The first area after the Mail-Server address out as something like "Server requires SSL" must be unchecked (!)

  The second area referred to as something like 'Server requires athentification' you have to check (!)

  After that, your Apple account should work in the application Mail in Windows 8!

  After painfully searching with Bing and Google, here is my idea.

  The reason why we get this error code is due to corrupted in the app folder files. To prove my point, go to C:\Users\(Your Username) \AppData\Local\Packages and try to delete the file associated with the application you are trying to install. You just can not remove them because said Win 8 Pro they are corrupt. (I have, to be sure, reassembled the app folder to a folder, try to remove and it gives me the error corrupted).

  The internet I use is the internet at the University where I work, so reset the router or something like that is not an option.  Help?

  I use Google Business email (paid service) for all my business email and calendar.  I was very surprised MS Surface has problems with this service of Google mail.

  I can add my Google Email as "Other account" and specify the imap and smtp to gmail.   It can be synchronised once my box with the letters.  Then we I close and go
  back later.  The Surface shows this account as being unavailable.  Could not synchronize the Message.

  I just read the Blackberry email on how I can have now the two-way sync between my Gmail account on my BB and BIS to sync Gmail, calendar and Contacts.

  (1) when I followed the installation instructions, there only a box sync Contacts.  Does this mean that Mail and calendar is synchronized to the auto?  The post office has always been instant (it arrives in my Gmail and then shortly after coming on my BB).  I'll assume that the calendar will work the same?  For clarification, I don't use Gmail plugin... I have my setting address gmail.com by BIS.

  The messages I read or delete (by selecting the box mailbox & completed) on my BB appear to be above and the same job on my Gmail inbox.  That's great!

  (2) my wife and I use our annexes to deal with each and other Google calendars, events on his calendar will appear on my BB?  Or only in Google?  With Google Sync, I could see events she has added to her calendar on my BB and Google Calendar.  I want to keep this feature.

  I had Google Sync installed, but uninstalled today because I thought it would not interfere with the new BIS synchronization.  I've added an event to my calendar of BB, but it has yet to appear on my Google Calendar.  I also added an event to my Google Calendar and it hasn't appeared on my BB calendar.

  (3) my Contact sync that has happened and now I have 3 entries for the same contact on my BB.

  I can't find any other information about these new features... has anyone else tried?

  Kent, a two way sync gmail to remove/read messages and contacts has been activated for several months, since the BIS 3.1 activation, I think that in June or more.

  Sync gmail calendar comes with BIS 3.2, which is not available in the USA or in North America yet, but will be in a few weeks. BIS 3.2 hit Europe last night (early this AM).

  I'm not surprised the bound announced does not have implementation, RIM never puts dates and details on these things.

  You must install the SSL certificate before connect you to the Regional service, the easiest way is to go to "desktop" IE10 open, go to the exchange server web access page, click on the notification of "certificate error" red and view / install the store "certificate authorities roots of trust." Then, make sure that your surface RT complies with the minimum requirements of security then connect to the exchange via the mail application server.
