  After the crash of QOSMIO G20... managed to reinstall of XP Recovery DVD-ROM. Immed after, looked at the config with Win Explorer and two hard drives all present and correct. even copied a picture of my images on the D: drive, just to make sure that all aok.

  Then downloaded SP3 and tried to install - it reported failure and then shut down the PC. After attempts to get again - until finally resorted to reuse the Recovery DVD-ROM.
  Come back XP again - but now, while the BIOS sees two hard drives (reports size, Fab details, etc.), as far as Windows is concerned, it does not exist.

  Tried to initialize in disk management - no sign there.
  He was then released, put it in a shopping cart, connected to the office and initialized and formatted - then returned to mobile... zilch!

  Yes. Find LR catalog file in Edit/settings/general catalogue. Close LR and go to this place. The catalog file is one that ends by .lrcat - move it where you want. Beside the .lrcat file is a subfolder called Previews.lrdata. You can move, but if you don't not LR will generate new insights.   Install or remove a hard drive

  Create and format a hard disk partition

  Important: Make sure that you have backed up all the data before going forward with the format.

  Since the first hard disk is full and crashing, you can try to move some data and check only files not programs drive different or another location.
