  Creative Suite serial numbers are specific platform: Windows only or Mac only.

  Only numbers of series CS6 can be exchanged against Windows to Mac (and vice versa)

  Looks like your user profile has been corrupted in some way and XP connected to a new profile.  This means that when you connect, you see one of your stuff and can be also lack all the other programs you may have installed previously.

  Note that the system restore do not know or care about the personal files on your system.

  Unless there's a disaster or instead of a system restore you done a system recovery files would be still on your system somewhere - you just find them... and when you find them, you can correct what happened.  If you have made a recovery of the system instead of a system restore, then all is lost and you need to recover from a backup.

  Have you performed a search of Windows to see if you can find some of these photos and files?    For example, you could search for something like "Resume.doc" or a file name that you remember exactly to see if it is anywhere on your system and where it is.

  Why don't you get in Windows Explorer and (assuming that XP is installed on your C drive), navigate to this folder:

  C:\Documents and Settings

  Below, you will see that each user on your system has their own folder for their personal belongings.  You will see also some folders listed user that you do not recognize, but that's normal.

  Under the folder of each user, there is another folder, as "Documents of Jose" and under this 'Jose music' and «De Jose Pictures»  Dig a little and check them all to see if you can find your missing stuff.

  Just take a look in the Control Panel, add/remove programs to see if "missing" programs are still installed, but all not available when you are logged in (you don't have to 'do' something - just look at).

  Assuming that you can find your missing stuff, determine where we (which will make feel you better knowing that it is not really gone), then report back and someone can help you straighten things.

  You would need to acquire a Windows version of the software.  There is not much you can do short of find anyone who sells this version for Windows and try your luck at the purchase by them.  I don't think that there is a kind of software emulation of Mac for Windows machines, if I'm wrong.  Adobe does not sell older versions of their software and they don't support platform swap for their latest version (CS6), which will probably finish in time as history buries the Creative Suite of products range.

  You just solved your problem. If not all, basically everything. You need 64-bit installation files for your 64-bit computer.

  You need two installation files - for extracting .exe and .7z the program itself. These two files have 64 in the name of the file if each is to be used in a 64-bit system.

  If you have purchased serial number...

  a. you can go after the series of 64-bit installation files where you are

  or

  b. downloading 64-bit from the following location and insert your serial number purchased by them during the installation.

  I have a new PC coming next week and had it get up and running with my creator of clouds as quickly as possible. Is there a way I can download the installation files on an external hard drive over the weekend so that I can install creative cloud from the hard drive as if I had a DVD. My internet connection is not very fast and don't really have the time to download over the next week.

  32-bit and 64-bit must have installed.

  Photoshop installs 32-bit and 64-bit shortcut in the Start Menu. If you need to manually run the application, the 32-bit version is the photoshop.exe file in the Program files (x 86) / Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5 and 64-bit version is the photoshop.exe file in the Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5 folder.

  Will not work. Serial numbers are the specific operating system: Windows only or Mac only.

• Missing option recovery discs factory - where to download the installation file?

  I just installed new operating system (Windows 7 Pro) on my T420. Unfortunately I can't find the right URL to download software such as below:

  

  Lenovo ThinkVantage tools Office is well known. I got it in the previous operating system pre-installed, but now, after a fresh install of the OS, I did not managed to download the module factory recovery disks (can not find)... So my question is - where can I get it? And how can I see me as on the attached screen?

  Another thing is thinkpad icon in display devices in the control panel. Previous installed OS I had rather nice T420 icon, icon now ordinary pc. How can I change?

  And finally, I also had a recovery Partition. Now I don't remember what I did in order to have in the previous Windows pre-installed. Could you please explain it to me?

I also ran the largest file initialzation, one of many in the new directory of AE 12.  I had uninstalled two old versions to test before buying it.
