  Try running disk clean up and remove unwanted system files and folders. Through disk cleanup, you can delete all the temporary files and folders that are not needed on your computer.

  1. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button picture of the Start button, tap all programs, accessories, click System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.

  2. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean your own files only or all files on the computer. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. If the disk cleanup: drive selection dialog box appears, select the hard disk you want to clean and then click OK.

  4. click the Disk Cleanup tab and select the check boxes for files that you want to remove.

  5. When you have finished select the files you want to delete, click OK, and then click on delete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup on delete all unnecessary files from your computer.

Like most pages sternly warn me that reinstall or downgrade Firefox will either do nothing, or be dangerous, that I have no idea what else to try. I suppose that, at this stage, that means probably I'm missing something obvious, but I still have no idea what I might be missing.

  Hi, take a look at this first - Firefox does not start - solutions, but if anything can help, it may be that this can be resolved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you delete your Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox.   I went to Windows 8.1 machine to test my work. Sync works fine, I now all my old favorites on the new machine.

  Then, I wanted to test if synchronization was copied on the profiles. I closed Firefox and typed firefox.exe Pei in the immediate window. That grew Firefox itself, not the Profile Manager. I consulted the help file and tried to enter complete progam

  That sound again to the top of Firefox profile manager.

  Why would this command not work? Is there another way to show the Profile Manager?

  I've got covered you.  You must connect to the database and clear the records you want.  It's easy.  Follow these steps:

  1: connect to the database

  sudo psql - U _devicemgr d devicemgr_v2m0 h/Library/Server/ProfileManager/Config/var/PostgreSQL

  This allows you to enter the interactive shell.

  2: select the database you want to interact with

  \c devicemgr_v2m0;

  3: dump all the data on your devices.

The folder under "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\" shows 2 of them, but how DO I know WHICH is my current profile? So far, I have been unable to navigate up a clear answer. THX.

  You seem to have created a profile in the Profiles folder and not as you should be in an empty folder.

  You already clicked the button Choose a folder and specified the profiles folder in the profile folder?

  You must always specify an empty folder and new for the profile if you really want to create one profile other than suggest Firefox (you can change the file extension part after the '. ': for example the default user-> my < name >)
