I am trying to burn files to cd audio wav. Error message tells me that the file is too large for the disk. What can I please?
I use Windows 7, Windows Media Player and audacity. Is it not possible to complete 1 disc then go no disc 2?
It is better to burn the trial of music using a cd - rw blank, a rewritable disc that allows once again, unlike a cd - r blank which can only be used once.
a typical blank cd - rw or cd - r can hold only ~ 650 to 700 MB of data.
Depending on the size of the music of *.wav, a blank disc can hold about 10 to 15 songs or more if the individual music is short.
If you want to burn more music on a cd, consider burning them as *.mp3, though lower quality compared to *.flac or *.wav files.

Working with Windows 7. I'm trying to move files to other readers. . What is the work around whan "" the file is too large for the destination file system"is the error messages. Can it be fixed so you can move the files
Either there is not enough space on the destination or the size of the file is larger than the destination system can accept, for example FAT32 cannot have a file size more than 4 GB.

.chm file is too large for application
I'm sorry. This isn't your typical question of RoboHelp.
I have a very big RoboHelp project with about 300 topics and a lot, a lot of screen captures. Our developer found that should the customer 3 minutes and 17 seconds to download the application with the file for assistance under construction. For him, this seems like an excessive amount of time for the client to have to wait.
Someone said I could zip the .chm file, but I don't know how it works. The development team didn't even unpack when they build? And someone suggested to do a download of the application and a separate for the help file. If you do this, the help always file works within the app? I have also considered removing the screen capture, that greatly reduces the size of the file.
Does anyone know other solutions to this problem?
Personally, I doubt zipping the CHM would make much difference if you have the option "Optimize the CHM file size" selected in your SSL, the file is already compressed. You have also highlighted a potential problem to which user a control where the CHM is unzipped to. of course, it should be desired for the application to find.
If your developer think three minutes is really too long to download the app (and I would help with the application of packaging is the best way to go); Let's look at alternatives. Could host you online help? It should, however, change application. You can remove some of the images to the screen, personally I was never a big fan of them in the help files unless they add real value.
Out of curiosity, how many of the 3 minutes 17 seconds is to help him? What is the size of the CHM file?

My pdf file is too large to email. How can I reduce the size of the file once the PDF file is saved?
Emailing is not the best way to share PDF files, especially if they are large. Transfer to one of the free services such as Dropbox and send the URL of the file.

can not burn dvd says file is too large
When I try to burn a movie to a new disk, it says the file is too big for disc
A standard DVD can hold 4.7 GB. If your movie is great as... Well you know you can't put stuff 10 pounds in a 5-pound bag. :-) You could buy double layer DVD-Rs and use it for your movies, and it works very well with your computer. It may not work with a good standard DVD player.
Good luck.

8 Windows media player says"files are too large to fit on a disk" when I try to burn a movie
When I try to burn my files utorrent movies, some of them have been able to burn, others would show a red x next to the titles that says that the file is too large to fit on a disc. Is it possible to solve this problem, do the smaller files, etc?
Hi Rick,
1. What is the format of the file you want to burn?
2. What is the size of the movie file?
3. What is the storage capacity of the disk?
4. you try to burn on a CD or a DVD?
You cannot take more than 2 hours on a DVD FORMAT VIDEO unless you get a DVD double layer. If you burn a DATA DVD, make sure it's less than 4.3 GB for a single layer DVD and 8.5 GB for a double layer DVD. You can compress files, but the resolution will be less.
You can also use your search engine preferred to find software or applications to compress large files.

Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Hi Mefrombigd,
1. it happens with all types of CD?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3 when was the last time it was working fine?
4. you receive the error message when you insert the CD into the CD drive?
Method 1
Check if you can access the contents of the CD using Windows Explorer application.
(a) click the start menu, and then double-click computer.
(b) make a right click on the CD drive, click Open.
(c) check if you can access it.
Method 2
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
(a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.
I hope this helps!
