  Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves

  Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
  Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT

  If you tried to transfer the software from one drive to another while it is probably the cause of the problem.  Adobe software must be installed using installation files.

  There are many causes of Code 39 errors:

  • A required device driver is missing.
  • A required binary file is corrupted.
  • There is a problem with the file I/O process.
  • A driver that refers to an entry point in another binary file cannot load.
  Re-install the driver by downloading it from the link given:

  Yesterday, I removed several components of windows to attempt to clean my cpu. After the reboot, I noticed that my DVD drive disappeared. I tried to update the driver but told me I have the most updated version, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, but I still get the same error. Under Driver Details, it shows that I have a lot of drivers for my Phillips DVD player. However, the status of the device is the following: Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device. I've done the troubleshooting, and the two options has not fixed the problem.

  Then I tried to add windows components that I removed, thinking maybe that was the problem. However, when I try to add them, I get an error message that says: 'Setup cannot copy the file zClientm.ex_' it shows the location of this file as being in windows/i386, and of course, the file is located in this folder. So when I go to browse to locate the file, I find and click on it to open it, but I keep getting the same error message that the file is not found and Setup cannot continue.

  I realize that this problem seems very rare and weird, but any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you.

  I just updated the hard drive in my Macbook Pro to an SSD 2012. There is nothing wrong with my old drive, I just wanted to give the aging computer a little boost. That is everything worked fine, but I obviously now save the hard drive that was originally from the computer.
  Am I right to understand that if I buy a case for this drive, I can then use it as an external drive?

  I know it is a 2.5 "that I want and looking online, many cases seem to be"Sata to USB. I have no idea what that means but it is what I need or is it something else that I need? And if I buy a case, is there anything else I need? I guess, it should be very easy to adjust, but have not done before, so any advice would be much appreciated.

  Since you have a MBP 2012, it has USB3 connections.   This should be one of the features that you should consider when choosing a speaker.  The reason is simple, the data transfer speeds are much faster than USB2 (if USB2 is always compatible).

  I'm rather confused (normal state) about the capacity of my hard disk. This is supposed to be 120 GB but... On 'My computer', it shows that I have 23 GB of 55.7 left GB on Vista C and 49.8 54.5 on E of data that is delivered to about 110 GB.

  I'm already about 10 GB missing but maybe that is taken up with hidden files. More worrying is that I have so little space on Vista C. Can I save files on the data partition, or is that a no-no? So far, everything I've loaded on it goes into Vista C.

  I agree with InvaderZim.

  But there should also be another reason why the two partitions of HARD drive are smaller than the whole HARD disk.

  I assume you are using the Vista operating system.
  Vista uses hidden for some files from recovery partition.
  If you check the Disk Manager, and you should see all available on your HARD disk partitions.
