The good news for you is that if you have 10 Windows on the old hard drive and it has been activated, you can use the tool for creating Windows 10 media on any computer to do an installation of the full version Windows 10 disc and reinstall Windows 10 and it will activate automatically.   I finally had to call MS and they have managed to solve the problem.  Somehow when I started again from Win10 to Win7 the Task Scheduler or WindowsBackup was damaged.  The registry has also been affected.  The skills needed to repair this problem was well beyond my capabilities.

  With the assistance of MS, this problem is now resolved.
