  Assuming that you mean that Adobe Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements, if you purchased an earlier version of it, then you are probably correct to go with installation on a Mac, because the licenses/serial numbers older versions supported for Windows and Mac.  If this is the latest version, then you will probably need to contact Adobe Support directly to see about replacing the platforms.

  Here are the different ways to reinstall vista

  Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

  they do it for a nominal cost of $

  also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

  you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

  Ask them of the exact key sequence

  or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

  Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

  The only FULL of Windows 8 Pro version would be the OEM System Builder... everything else is an upgrade...

  Unlike Win 7 and earlier versions, Microsoft is not offering one COMPLETE Win 8 other than OEM package...

  The difference is that the OEM version has no support from Microsoft... If you have a problem, you are on your own... Just enjoy the Forums and for any issues that arise...

  Providing that there are drivers available for your laptop to win 8, it should work...

  1) go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and locate the file named hosts inside etc folder.

  Copy 2) guests of the file to the desktop and open the same thing with Notepad.
