I bought in the home edition of windows US, and now I've discovered there is no word?

My nephew bought for me Windows XP home edition to the United States and he sent me here, at the present time, I am here in Germany, and we can't buy your product in English. I had this program installed and found out that it does not contain the WORD, I'm old not a lot of money and not informed on these issues. I only know how to use words, someone installed for me this org.3.3 program, but I can't print a DIN A4 page, 2 pages. Please I need help.

Thanking you,

Sincerely,

Al.

You mean just Microsoft wordpad or Microsoft office Word?
for the processor, you will need to purchase Microsoft Office,
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/default.aspx

If wordpad, Word perhaps is not installed by default. (Check in the start menu-> all programs-> Accessories-> wordpad)
to install wordpad, go to the dashboard-> Add / Remove programs.
In this window, you can see the option "Add or remove windows components" on the left side of the window, click on that.
another window will open. If this control Word is available. If it is available, then check and install. (it may ask for the Windows CD).
alternative is, put your windows CD, then will come a Setup window automatically. (if it didn't, do it manually by the opening of the Conference on disarmament.
In this window, you can display options such as window installation, compatibility, add windows etc.
Click Add windows components. Select the word, and then install.

org 3.3. is an alternative for microsoft office word and is not a microsoft product.

Thank you!!

I bought a computer dell laptop years directly from Dell. I do not forget passwords including the administrator one... any suggestions? Dell is likely to help? I have windows xp home edition. All ideas are welcome

If you are running XP Home, chances are you're confused about two things:

    1. the administrator account (the real NAME of this default account is administrator!)
    2. the ordinary account connect you to, who happens to have administrator privileges.
Start mode (F8 method) safe. Choose the account NAMED administrator. Suppose then that the password is empty; Press the Enter key. Then you should have access to ALL accounts.
If this does not work, you will have to Google for solutions to "clear or reset your password XP."

  • Disable automatic restart after Windows Update for the home edition of Windows 8 forced

I use Windows 8 home edition.  I want to keep automatic updates turned on, but I don't want my computer restarts automatically after some Windows updates are installed.

I am aware that there is a notification on the lock screen, indicating that a reboot is needed, but normally, I keep my computer on all the time and don't ever see this notification.  There are no notifications on the desktop until 15 minutes before the forced restart.  Still, he seems to be at an inopportune time and translates into loss of work.

I saw messages and articles describing the methods of disabling restarting forced on different versions of Windows by changing the registry keys or by using the Group Policy Editor.  But Windows 8 Home edition does not have the registry key mentioned nor has he a Group Policy Editor.

Is there a way to display the notification on the desktop even more in advance?

Is it possible to postpone indefinitely or completely disable the forced reboot?

I get an error message "Windows cannot find gpedit.msc", probably because I have the Home version and not Pro (even though I really don't like about the reason, I get the error, to be honest).  Which unfortunately for Member States does nothing to increase the probability that I'm going to buy the Pro version (of Win8 or any later version) and instead reduced the probability that I will never buy another product of MS at all.  If anything this behavior makes more sense to a professional (i.e. IT Department coordinated group policy settings) rather than a home setting, so for me to have no way to remove/fix this "feature" really turns me off purchase Windows for domestic use.

Oh if you have a House version, you will get the editors of group policy.  Actually, politics made the most sense for users.  Send the editorial at MS, not me.

    Hello

    1. what update has the problem from occurring?
2 are you not able to boot to the desktop?

Updated version has a problem in the history of the update.

    a. open Windows Update by clicking on the button start. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.
    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.
    c. to display more information about an update, double-click it.

Follow the steps below and the devil, if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Disable the automatic restart in case of system error. Prevents Windows from automatically restarting if an error of Windows to fail. You can choose that this option if Windows is stuck in a loop where Windows fails, attempts to restart, and fails again repeatedly.

    Reference:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Step 2:

Do System Restore to the point that your computer worked very well and install updates manually ensuring that do not install the problem causing the update unless it says 'important update '.

  • Can manage Windows XP Home Edition of Windows 8? Get the error codes for the security updates (0 x 643). ALL through Microsoft Tech INFECTED with the virus and Trojans tried. I need help BADLY. Thank you.

I tried every thing blessed with technology microsoft... always hanging in limbo here.  Tired of doing constant comprehensive analyses, etc. in order to remove the constant threats.  Apparently my McAfee can't stay with her either.  Need help with the download/repair these seeds as soon as possible.  Thanks to all those who wish to help me - it would be that popular, for sure!

    The question makes no sense.

"Can manage Windows XP Home Edition of Windows 8?"

Two problems: there is no Windows 8 and even if there were, Windows XP Home Edition would not not 'manage '.  ;-)

I drop McAfee for a few different freeware products.  Or better yet I'd get two products 'cost' (~ 25 and 60 dollars) and install them and use them in the future - but WHEN you are trying to clean up.

You seem like you maybe sincerely - at a time when a format/install of Windows XP/patching/installation of applications/patch/restore backups of your data is the best course of action.

However, if you are willing to work - maybe we can at least get things cleaned up to a certain point where you can get a good backup before doing this (otherwise avoid doing all together.)

In the order shown, do not jump (no matter what you do, what you have done in the past, etc.) ...

First of all - download, install, operate and put to update and then run a full system scan with the following two (one at a time, reboot in-between):

After you perform a full scan with one then the other and remove anything they have all two are completely, you can uninstall these products, if you wish.  This initiative will allow to check there is no malware floating around your system which could cause problems.  If you ask - no, Norton probably does not protect you from what these applications can find.

Download and run the MSRT tool manually:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
(Ignore the details and download the tool to download and save to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

    Reset.

Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):
    (Windows XP 32-bit: WindowsXP-KB942288-v3 - x 86 .exe )
(Download and save it to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

    and...

Download the latest version of Windows Update (x 86) agent here:
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=91237
... and save it to the root of your C:\ drive. After you register on the root of the C:\ drive, follow these steps:

Close all Internet Explorer Windows and other applications.

    AutoScan--> RUN and type:
    %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe /WUFORCE
    --> Click OK.

(If asked, select 'Run'). --> Click on NEXT--> select 'I agree' and click NEXT--> where he completed the installation, click "Finish"...

    Reset.

Now try usig the Fixit (Yes - try to use it again) to reset your Windows Components Update (you'll do the aggressive version, not the other):
How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Reset.

    CHKDSK
How to scan your disks for errors* will take time and a reboot.

    Defragment
How to defragment your hard drives* will take time

    Reset.

Now, open Internet Explorer, visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and do a CUSTOM search for updates.  Install any critical/high-priority ones and - for now - to ignore all those in option (always do this for material updates optional here.)

Restart if necessary and continue to visit this web page until you have not yet updated to high priority.

Now - if your problem is with the facilities of the .NET Framework...  You can end up with something like:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx
to uninstall a few versions of the .NET Framework, then you can try to install again - but you should not do this until the machine is supposed to be cleaned.

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3, 32-bit and IE8.  Do I need to upgrade to Windows 7?

The upgrade to Windows 7 is a personal decision.  Chances are that if you can do what you need to do on Windows XP then it is 'useless' to upgrade.  If you plan the upgrade anyway, you should first check to see that your hardware is supported under Windows 7.  To do this, Microsoft has provided a program of "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor" to run on your current computer.

  • I just bought the wireless desktop 800 Windows keyboard and mouse it does not work on the Windows XP desktop

I just bought the wireless desktop 800 Windows keyboard and mouse. It works fine on my Win7 laptop but not on my XP desktop even if it says it is compatible with XP. Any advice?

    Hello

Thanks to join Microsoft Community where you will find all necessary information about the Windows operating systems.

You cannot use the Wireless Desktop 800 keyboard and mouse.

The problem may occur if the devices are not detected.

What exactly happens when you try to use the devices?

A fixit could be used if the devices are not detected.

    See the site:

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, or if you have problems of Windows in the future, let us know and we would be happy to help you.

The oldest is compared to newer operating systems, it is less likely to work.  If you have been happy with the help of Photoshop 7 then you should be happy with the old operating system as well.  Your options are either to return to a system that supports your software or to buy new software to go with the new system.  CS6 products are still selling as far as I know.  In addition, your only option is to subscribe to the cloud of Creative for Photoshop CC.
