  If Vista is preinstalled contact the Manufacter computer and ask them to send recovery discs; what they should do for a small fee.

  And ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to reinstall the operating system to how it was when new.

  If you have not deleted this partition (you tell how wipe you the hard drive!) you press F10 or F11, etc at startup to start the process of relocation.

  If you have purchased a package, then you should have instructions in the box on how to present your credentials. If you have purchased Adobe online, then you should have received instructions in an email. But here is a link that might help you.   The Adobe ID here in the forums have no CC registered to it, you can activate the CC to your Adobe ID twice. in case you have activated it twice, you have to disable among the previous machine or the third machine will give you the ability to disable from all the previous machine.

• I HAV been trying to update my expiration date of credit card for 3 months.  When I go to lelien for "Update payment Details" and edit the expiration date and < click > save, I get an error saying my address in invalid.  I have several chat sessions

  Simply because the use of the validation of addresses, Adobe, has a few flaws, I was not able to update this information.  So Adobe today will stop my subscription.

  As I said in previous support tickets, chat sessions and telephone.  I'll be more disappointed if I am prevented from using software and Adobe cloud features.

  I tried to include as much information as possible in what I said earlier, I expressed in a way that will hopefully provide a little humor, but at the same time to portray the frustration I'm feeling right now.

  Honestly, I don't know what more I can do.  It seems that I have no other recourse start litigation for loss of income coming from Adobe address Validation errors.  There is a real chance that I will be litigated against because I won't be able to complete contracts.

  There must be a healthier solution of mind that court proceedings.

• Photoshop CS6 extended sniffer_gpu crash on mac ML

  I have the latest update installed for Photoshop CS6 for Mac, I also hosts the latest OS (MountainLion 10.8.4). I have a MacBookPro end of 2012. Everytime I open Photoshop, it shows an error log saying "sniffer_gpu quit unexpectedly. I had this happened before and got fixed, but don't remember how and does it just one more time. I have searched all over the web to find an answer, but I'm not and I'm lost. Everything is up-to-date, why do I get this crash and how to fix it?

  Photoshop works very well, but it's an annoying error and something seems to be wrong. But what? If anyone can help, I would be grateful. I don't want to have to reinstall Photoshop every few months because of this error, because I feel that I shouldn't.

  Account required to workaround is to disable the sniffer of gpu until the fix is issued.

  1. in the folder Photoshop CC, Ctrl-click on Adobe Photoshop CC.app

  2. choose "Show Package Contents" from the context menu.

  3. open the contents > MacOS folder, search for "sniffer".

  4. keep that file, but to rename it by placing a tilde from sniffer: ~ sniff

  5. close the finder and PS CC should start normally.
