  This machine is located at the limit of the size I want, but smaller would mean that I have to wait longer to buy.  I want to really the Lenovo quality and performance of the Core 2 Duo processor, but if it isn't quality Thinkpad or if I have to deal with BB instead of Lenovo to everything, I want to go back.

  I was thinking about buying the version 14 PS & Premium, but read somewhere that if you buy at Best Buy, I have yet to download files of programs/installation of the Adobe site. Never, I even use my version 12, which was purchased from Best Buy due to not being able to install it by downloading a few files needed, even if it is registered!

  My question is, where can I buy a copy of version 14 and don't have to register, without worrying about download files in order to make it work? Let me know, as this will help my decision.

  Adobe sells only the latest (14) version for download. In general, you can buy either packing in box (with installation disc), or a download of its appointed dealers.

  Says who? Looking at online ads, it seems that Best Buy (if it is your store) sells packing in box with the installation disc.

  One of the advantages of purchasing Adobe is that if you are not satisfied with the product within 30 days of the purchase, you can request a refund for return. If you buy elsewhere, you are governed by the seller's return/refund policy.

  If price is a consideration, Adobe gives a reduced price if you can show proof of an earlier version of the program and meet its requirements for name for this. He calls it "upgrade". This 'upgrade' is only a term exclusive pricing in this instance to Adobe. Authorized dealer sometimes has a greater price than the price of 'upgrade' from Adobe. "Upgrade or full" at Adobe, certain products, different prices. Items are sold by Adobe only as purchases.   Each version of Adobe products is based on the previous ones.  Some things like filters and advanced features may change or become obsolete over time, but the basic tools remained much the same for decades.  As long as you know there are subtle differences between the versions, I think that you will always get a large part of the value of C to a and B for CS6.
