  For added convenience, app Notifications have a setting that allows them to be seen and interacted with on your lock screen. It is a setting entirely optional and can be disabled for individual applications under settings > Notifications. Tap the application that you want to adjust (in your case, Messages) and toggle the "Show on lock screen" switch in the off position. You can still receive alert sounds when a message arrives through to be notified, you have received one, but it will not appear on your lock screen. To view, unlock your iPhone and go directly to the Messages app.

  (1) my e-mail account had been compromised, so I changed the password with my ISP.

  (2) I tried to use a master password to Tbird Options > Security and it is a pain. So I decided that I didn't want to use a master password and wanted to return to my e-mail downloads how did before, so I disabled the master password.

  Options > password security guard is populated by several email addresses and password. I want to keep them intact - but if I want to change the password, or delete it, the instructions indicate that all passwords will be lost. Do I need them in this place? I find that things don't quite work if I delete them the strike.

  If the computer is on a domain then there are at least two accounts that can be used to remove the computer from the domain:

  • A domain administrator account.
  • A local administrator account.

  When your friend has launched Windows for the first time after buying the machine, he was prompted to enter the name of an account. This account is created automatically with administrator privileges. He should use it now.

  When a machine is restored to the State of the plant and then you are prompted to select your own account name and password. If you are challenged for a password, then the machine is not in "Factory condition" and you must perform a new factory restore.

  Two possibilities:

  (1) your airport WiFi might have a network name that is not in line with best practices, wireless

  A good wireless network name is...

  ... In short no more than 20 characters

  Simple... no special characters like an apostrophe, dollar sign, asterisk, etc.

  Compact, without spaces in the name

  For example, a wireless network network name as... red .dfedoryk Apple wireless network... .is not what you want. Something like... .dfedorykwireless. .. masse are much more likely to connect to non-Apple devices.

  Same guidelines your password

  (2) Apple gives the same name to network 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network that produces double router band.  Some non-Apple devices are confused by the present, you may need to use the option to assign a different name for the network of 5 GHz on the router from Apple.   I hooked another computer for network wiring and it worked fine.  I changed the wiring, and it still doesn't work.

  I have a XPS 12 with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless card.  I can't ping the default gateway with the wireless card.  When I use a USB network adapter, I can ping the default gateway for the wired connection.  I can connect to the Internet and the internal network with the wireless card and can ping other computers on the network.  I am trying to run a program to connect wireless to a projector.  I have two different programs for the two different projectors.  I can connect by cable but not wireless.  I think that the problem is anything that does not make me a ping of the default gateway or something on the wireless card.  I have a 10 latitude with a Broadcom wireless card that is connected to the same access point and can ping the default gateway and can connect wirelessly to two projectors.  They all have two windows 8 Pro.

  I downloaded the new drivers from Dell, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried to update Windows install the drivers, all with no success. Any ideas?

  The solution of the problem by chance.  I was connected to the computer with a different network than what has been used to authenticate user account on the wireless.  When I switched the user account for the user account that was logged on to the computer was the same who authenticate to the wireless, it worked.  Go figure!

  Printer brand/model?

  Start > Control Panel

  Select the Printers folder

  Right-click on the printer icon, then select open

  Are there pending print jobs

  If Yes, click on file > cancel all Documents

  Close the print queue and the printer folder

  Try printing again

  Start > right click on computer

  Select manage

  Select Device Manager

  Click on the + sign next to the Ieee... compatible printer (if any)

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + next to imaging devices

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to printers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to Bus USB controllers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Close the Device Manager

  Restart the computer to Windows to reinstall the drivers

  I tried to start the deafult Web site using my Vcac-service account (in Internet Information services Manager).

  I changed the password used to access my gmail account. Thunderbird still uses the old password to access the account. How can I change the password that is using Thunderbird. The last time this happened I ended up creating a new account to Thunderbird for gmail. Create the new Thunderbird account at least let me enter the new password. I don't really want to have three accounts of Thunderbird for the same gmail account.

  Please do not respond with suggestions on using password manager. I do not use it and do not want to start. I looked, and none of my Thunderbird passwords are displayed here.
