• Keyboard triggers - can never overlap on the timeline?

  I have a character that has several keyboard triggers.  I have several forms of mouth, flashing, an animation of eyebrow and 2 pairs of eyes I swap between.

  I thought I could just my animation in a loop and treat each of them individually, but I find that all the triggers of keyboard live within the same layer of the timeline, so if I have an eyebrow movement that overlaps an existing swap of the mouth, mouth swap is replaced by eyebrow movement and they cannot coexist.

  I searched the forums and cannot find any discussion about this, so maybe this problem is unique to my setup, but there is no sense at all to me.

  I'd appreciate it if anyone could share suggestions or ideas because I'm in a difficult situation at the moment.  I was counting on the use of CA for a PSA I work on - and indeed I kept customers waiting for 2 hours now while I tried to solve this problem.

  For now, you need to add multiple keyboard trigger behaviors in the Panel of the puppet. Select your puppet of high level, go to behaviors on the right, click on + and select keyboard trigger. Do this for both separate keyboard triggers you want overlapping and then only one at a time for each arm.

  This will be fixed in the next version, where each trigger keyboard will get its own track in the timeline automatically.

  It is possible either by using the timeline or actionscript tweens motion tweens.  You want to gradually increment the object _rotation property to give the appearance of spinning, although this would be a view flat spinning, not a spinning 3-d effect.

  I import avi widescreen 48 kHz "rushes".

  I have change in several sequences (A) and I put the poster timecode effect because I work with a group from a distance and this is the only way to point to a specific clip or sequence of many rushes.

  I then change another final sequence with clips from that of a sequence. I get a timeline with tracks being tinted green instead of the usual blue. In addition, I can't wave in the timeline or in the source monitor. And, not least, when I double click on a clip, where should I get the clip in the source monitor Panel, it opens the sequence in the timeline panel, but not in the source monitor.

  I have done anything wrong or there at - it a bug?

  If the clip is green, you are probably looking to a nested sequence.

  For a waveform, you need to render audio.

I have independent clips on the timeline laid out in groups, each group marked with color labels so I can review and play only the groups of clips, or "parties", overall, but I would like to isolate each of these groups a little more if I could play each independently "in the loop" so I can still study them independently and isolated from others. Is it possible to do it on the timeline?   Put them on a different schedule and those in the playback loop.

• Merged clips are not automatically linked with the audio when put to the timeline.

  So I've updated to the latest version of first pro, and it seems that he has this bug with merged clips or is a 'feature' I don't know.

  I synced the audio clips video and multichannel, as I do usually - using audio matching feature.

  When I put the video merged to the timeline and try to move around, only following a video audio track, others are unrelated. It wasn't the question in the previous version first. Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

  Yes, it's a bug with clips merged; It also affects the edit of a sequence in another with the "insert and replace sequences such as nests or individual clips" button to "individual clips." Sorry for the inconvenience; Currently, the only solution would be to manually connect the audio and video components.

  An intro plays for 4 seconds; followed by a loop (the flashing of the title).

  I used the timeline triggers {} and tags to navigate.

  The animation reaches brand 4.5 sec and hits a trigger Action {}

  SYM. Play ('blink');

  Which redirects to the position of Timeline Label called blink at the mark 4s, creating the loop. This section of the timeline will never loop until the end user clicks on the title.

  Note: When you get to the later label 'a' is an additional element (grey circle) with a handful of click to return to 0 (IE replay).

  Its a simple example, but if you plan to have a lot of items, good practice is to take advantage of the nested elements, groups and or symbols to "declutter" the timeline.

  In timeline Expert, is there a way to create a gap, so that copies of the other clips on the timeline can be copied in it without covering the other clips?

  The goal is to insert a series of copies of very short duration of various clips to create a section with multiple rapid changes from one image to the other.

  I've been using a work around (screen black insert, then copy / paste extracted from the timeline above) but it is very tedious and ineffective, adding additional steps to the process.

  I have so many things in the timeline as lasso and dragging back everything is even less effective.  And sometimes causes crashes.

  Thank you.  It would be good but I have a ton of stuff on the timeline and when I drag a lasso operation - half the time the program crashes.  Also, I try to avoid all select them and then drag - a lot of your time.

  Actually, to my question, I found the answer last night:

  1. copy clip (s) that need to be copied in a different location of the timeline (Ctrl-C).

  2 put CTI to location target on the timeline,

  3 Shift-Ctrl-V

  This will copy the clips to the location of the CTI, sliding to the right to make room.

  As you note, if you have anything on any other track ss12 will chop her upwards and move, that I learned the hard way.  So I had to remove the soundtrack, to be later.  I consider it very bad design; There are countless situations in which the soundtrack is essentially a background music which has absolutely no specific link to a specific scene or clip, and failure to allow a substitution of synchronization is very poor design.

  It seems to simply create a gap for a reason, maybe the fastest way is

  1 set the CTI at the location target for gap

  2. create black screen

  3. Insert a black screen to the timeline.  Everything will slip just to accommodate.

  4 R click on black screen, click on delete.  Screen is removed, leaving a vacuum.

  5 clear black display of active project (to avoid to fill this space with useless junk).  Or leave if you think you'll use it again.

  This may be a marker handy to find quickly to the area or clip that you need to work later.  Or to indicate the areas that you want to export later.
