I can manually create partition data recovery CD?

Hello

I have a laptop (Satellite Pro) friends who is unable to start in Vista (even in safe mode) with a blue screen. I tried to start my Vista CD to try a windows repair, but even that translates the same blue screen. To cut a long story short, I want to use back to factory default, but the recovery CD were never created.

I can access the contents of the disc (the C drive and the data partition) to boot from a CD live linux. Is there a way I can copy the files over again the data partition and create a CD/DVD using these files for recovery?

Thank you very much

Lol you can't do that. What you can do now is to restore disc original order of Toshiba.
Sorry but there is nothing you can do about it.

How can I create the installation media full and usable if not for the operating system and all other preinstalled software?

    Hello

On this forum, you will find a lot of useful comments on the recovery image saved on the HARD drive and its operation to the facility and the creation of recovery disks.
All this is clearly and simply.

Front of Toshiba offer new people for laptop in software development create recovery image. This recovery image will be created for each laptop model (specific hardware configuration). Recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, tools/utilities Toshiba specific and some other software like DVD/Blu-Ray, Microsoft Office test drive and the antivirus application. With this configuration every laptop owner can begin to use the laptop without having to install important applications.

This package is then saved on the HARD drive and can be used for the installation of HARD drive recovery - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm. In other words, if something is wrong with HARD drive recovery facility you can reset the preinstalled operating system and reinstall recovery imae. After that make you have absolute same settings you had after purchase and first start of the laptop.
HARD drive recovery image can not be used if:
    -HARD drive is defective
-you have installed the version of the own BONE
Structure of the HARD disk partitions - is changed
Recovery image - HARD drive is deleted or moved to another partition or copied to the external device.

To avoid all this Toshiba recommends the creation of recovery disks. Using these disks, you will be able to install the OS on the new drive HARD or in any other situation listed above.
Please note: the use of recovery disks will remove all HARD drive, create the new recovery partition and install image recovery, so you still have the same settings.

I hope I can help you with my explanation. If you have any other questions you are welcome.

  • Satellite C650D: How can I create partitions?

    Hellooo

    can someone help me?
I have laptop Toshiba Satellite C650D when I bought it, there is only one partition of hard disk, I want another 2 or 3 partitions it how can I do it?

    Hello

You can create partitions in Win 7 disk management.

Firstly, it must reduce the old partition. You will then get a free space on the HARD drive where the new partitions may be created.
The entire procedure is very delicate. Further details on the Microsoft Win 7 page:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/fr-FR/Windows-Vista/create-and-format-a-hard-disk-partition

I hope this helps a little.

But before you change this, I recommend creating a recovery disk!

    Hello Alberto

As far as I know that something like this is possible. Please start the recovery procedure and check if you have the installation in Expert mode. Very nice thread about the installation in expert mode, you will find under http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=7302

  • How can I create "complex" data segments

I'm new to Eloqua and I find little by little my way around the system, but I have a question that relates to the creation of data segments that target the roles of work in my database.

Let me explain what I'm trying to achieve:

I market a software solution that is relevant to industry and job roles in this industry, so I'm working on creating a data segment that will be:

British companies to target only in the banking sector and the contacts with the 'risk', 'audit', 'respect' or "CISO" in their job title.

If I had to create it in other email tools I used I would use something like:

(British industry AND contains banking AND (job title 'risk' OR 'check' OR 'compliance' OR 'BRS'))

But do not see a way to do nested instructions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Welcome to the Eloqua community!  To execute nested statements / brackets, you'll want multiple selection (Ctrl + click on a Windows PC) the criteria you wish to combine and click the 'Groups' button at the bottom of the editor of segment.

To nest statements in brackets, do the same thing, but bracket and additional criteria, select "group".

    See you soon,.

You can.  But back up all your data first!  This process is a dangerous process and the smallest slip could erase your entire hard drive.  You have been warned.

    Now, that being said,.

    (1) open disk management

    (2) right click on your C drive in the chart and "reduce" the volume

    (3) right-click the now empty space and create a new volume he

    (4) click the new volume, and then format. Give it a name that you will recognize as "Win8" or something

    (5) boot from your installation Windows 8 media and choose install this new partition on

  • How can I reinstall / store data recovery an ESXi 4.1 lost during an upgrade to 5.5?

I was running a host of ESXi 4.1 on a Dell T110 II with two RAID, a managed arrays by the controller integrated RAID that contained the system of ESXi and a small data store (channel) and the other controlled by a 6405e Adaptec controller which contained my main data store (BunkerHill). In the process of upgrading from 4.1 to ESXi 5.5, I forgot to include the drivers for the Adaptec 6405e controller and even if the upgrade of the host, he did not see the BunkerHill data store.

I downloaded and installed the VIB for the controller 6405e and after restart the host ESXi 5.5 shows the Adaptec RAID under storage adapters, but the BunkerHill data store is still not visible and all virtual machines guests appearing on this show as unknown in the inventory. The channel data store and two invited VMS it holds are visible. Below a part of the kernel log is filtered on the RAID controller device name.

I would like to get the recognizable BunkerHill data store before continuing the upgrade and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction (KB article, display, etc. that explains what I do). I need to reinstall 4.1 on the work of RAID (ESXi 5.5 and channel data bank) and then trying to reconnect the main data store, or are there changes I can do from the console to manually get the market things?

    Tips are appreciated,

  • I can't create partitions in unallocated space when trying to install Windows.

    problem installing Windows

I tried to install windows 7, then the hard drive selection window, it shows 2 spaces unallocated and I can't delete or create a new partition of them and niether I am able to install windows .please help

    Hello

You can erase your entire hard drive with command prompt from booting from the Windows installation disc and run the utility "diskpart", clear full hard drive, make new partitions and install the operating system.

    (a) start the computer from the Windows installation disc.

    (b) click on 'Next' at the first prompt.

    (c) click on "Repair your computer."

    (d) click "next".

    (e) click on "Command prompt."

    (f) type "diskpart" without the quotes, and then press "Enter".

    (g) list disk 'type' without the quotes, and then press "enter".

    (h) type "select disk 0" without the quotes and replacing '0' by the actual number of the car you want to erase.

    (i) type "clean" without the quotes, and press "Enter." The drive is now completely erased.

    (j) restart the computer.

    (k) through the installation of Windows 7 with regular steps.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I create a data file?

I am back. I found the CFA & PEF files and I'm about to go to work and remove all these on all my drives.

What I need to know now is how to create a single data file on a DVD for the back upward.  I have burned successfully a DVD in Encore, but I don't want to use it as a return to the top

I think it would be deteriorating a bit. In addition, it's a file again.

What I want is a Premiere CS4 file. This way I can always go back and make any changes or modifications in the original time line.

If I can do this, I was planning on using a DVD - RW so I could make changes later.

I also want to do a transfer DVD to install my project on another computer. It is a single computer video without an internet connection to mess with my OS and slow things down.

    Thanks again

For projects, the trick will be the files of components. If they will be fit on DVD DL discs, you're OK. If they are too big (DV - AVI is ~ 13 GB per hour), then you will need a type of backup or covering the software, who will write the files on multiple disks. A better choice, IMO, would be an external to 1 to 2 to, where you can use the project manager, or just Windows Explorer and copy, to see the entire project with assets folder. I do not recommend a USB key and go at least for FW - 400. FW - 800 would be better, but you will need FW 800 connections on your computer. eSATA would be the best, but then you will need eSATA connectors.

    Good luck

Is there a way to understand what happened?

    My setup

    motherboard: Tyan Thunder n3600m S2932GRN

    disks: SATA seagate and WD.

    NIck

I see the barebone specification and seem that your controller is a 'soft' RAID

Take a look at the configuration of the SATA controller.

When your drive will be recognized as/dev/sdXX, then you can create your data store.

The newly created file will retain the ID file from the original file that was lost?

Since you're on 10g, you have not manually create the data file. Check recovery of a Datafile without backup lost: example for more details.

The identifier must remain the same.

  • Not getting not created partitions...

    Hello

I moved a few tables for a new tablespace (new_tablespace) to another volume of unix, but since then, scores have been of is automatically created for the tables... I can always create partitions manually for their own good.

    I get:

ORA-00959: tablespace "old_tablespace_name" does not exist.

Would appreciate some tips on where to check where the "old tablespace is referenced?"

    Concerning
    Laurent

You can change the default storage for your table that is partitioned as follows:

    SQL> alter table  modify default attributes tablespace ;

    Kind regards
    Uwe
