  • can not find the wireless network

    Hello

I hope someone can help. Today, I got a new installed wireless router. Until now my main and most recent computer can connect to the internet fine (so I know this isn't a network problem), but my old computer does not find the network when scherching of available networks, it may pick up other networks and communicate with them simply not my own. It is the first time that I am trying to connect to this wireless computer.

The computer is a HP pavilion t770.uk Windows xp sp3.

You need to replace the network adapter. The current NIC is older than the specification of N, so it can not communicate with this Protocol.

You can try to configure your router and the new pc to use b, if they allow.

  • I installed Windows XP Home Edition. Can not find the wireless network drive

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?

    Hello

Are you sure that your laptop was equipped with the Broadcom WLan card?

The same model could also use the Atheros WLan card... that's why it would be interesting to know the name of the Wlan module that appears in the device under network adapters Manager.

By the way; the module sharing BT signals too... that is why it is essential to install the filter of Bluetooth driver Package in order to use the WLan and BT

  • Satellite A200 not regognise any wireless network

    Hello world

I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 with Windows VIsta Home Premmium Wireless does not, there not regognise any wireless network.
I opened the Configfree, activate the wireless and radar, it not fint anything.

With a wiless scanaer program said that there is no w onboard card.

    What should I do?

    Thank you

    Why you use Configfree?
Forget this tool and use either clean of Windows configuration options or the manufacturer of the WLan card too.

First you should check if the WiFi network has been successfully activated.
Then, check if the wireless network adapter using the same WLan 802. 11 A B or G standard as your router WLan at home.
Also, check your encryption settings and the type of encryption.

And read other threads here because in most cases the WLan problems can be solved the same way!

  • Satellite A100-529: How can I enable the wireless network adapter

    Hi all!

I'm new here, but I want to know how can I activate the wireless network device. On my Toshiba Satellite A100-529 keyboard is a Fn key that must be pressed with the F8 key to turn on the wireless network device. I did, but it does not work.

What can I do to turn on my wireless device?
    Thank you!

You are right. The FN + F8 key combination should be used to switch to the WLan card.

But look, man. Have you checked if your laptop supports wireless network card?
I think it does not support the minPCI wireless network card and the card does not exist!

That's why the WLan card cannot be activated :) you know ;)

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

  • Vista Home Premium can not find applications and networks.

Vista Home Premium (manuf. installed) can not find applications (application to go to define associations in control panels?), does not recognize my wireless network and available restore points are only for dates after the problem has occurred.  If I buy a Home Premium DVD and do a clean install should I expect to get a working computer?

    Hello

You mean reinstall the OS completely? If you have Vista DVD you can do however make sure to
totally your data off the drive of backup, and you need to reinstall your programs. If you do not
Disks of Vista, you can buy them in your machine to cheap system. If you don't care about existing programs
Then you can make a complete new installation - just select the format options that erases the entire disc (this
    Clears all data as well).

Some system manufacturers use Partitions recovery and other methods to allow you to go back to a
completely new facility. So check with your system manufacturer to see what options you must do
    - and it's certainly doable - just a question of the process the manufacturer of the system set in place to
    you.

  • DHCP is not enabled for wireless network

    Hi all

I have problems with internet connection and a large part of the time, that Network Diagnostics says Windows "DHCP is not enabled for wireless network", then it solves a problem, but I lose the connection several times a day, and each time that do the same fix again.

I checked the Device Manager settings and DHCP is started and set to automatic, I also ran CMD > ipconfig/all and can paste the results if need be.

I use a VPN and never had any prior issued connection with it and it seems to be just as hard to connect if the VPN is enabled or disabled.

Also recently I got the "security defender" virus which has been deleted successfully, the next day of the day it has been deleted, all network cards have messed up, I uninstalled and reinstalled them but that didn't work so I restored my system and that seems to fix the problem, my computer does not seem to run as fast after the virus as before so I wonder if it has an impact on my current problem.

I use a Toshiba Satellite Pro 660D and Windows 7.

  • Can I connect to wireless networks far away?

How to connect to wireless networks more away?

Is there any way I can improve my reach wireless laptops so I can connect to wireless networks more away?

    Hello!

You can only connect to wireless networks that recognizes the laptop. If the laptop recognizes a wireless network, you can connect to them. If he doesn t recognize (because it is further away) you can't connect.

In addition, you cannot improve the scope of the laptop wireless. You can do it on a WIFI router, and not on the laptop.

    Hello, Steve.

  • HP configuration wizard does not detect my wireless network.

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C4580 multifunction device for a few years, works as a printer/scanner wireless for the household. In the House, we have an iMac, a Macbook Air and two computers HP laptop.

Last weekend I bought a MacBook Pro in lieu of the iMac and a router Airport Extreme Base Station to replace my ISP provided. Since then, I can't have the printer hooked up again.

All the wireless devices in the House for example iPad, iPhones etc connect the new router without problem so I'm glad that the wireless signal is OK.

I downloaded the latest HP Setup application and it ran with the printer connected by USB to install on the MacBook. However, even if the USB device is detected when I try to configure it to the wireless, the installation software does not detect my wireless network.

    I tried the following: -.

    -Rebooted router

-Reset default printer is turned off, unplug the unit and unplugged the cable, left for 30 seconds then reconnected again.

    -Created a new comments system.

-The router is configured to run g and n network.

-The network names have any unusual characters.

-Tried to enter the name manually.

    USB printing is fine.

Is there something about the installation wizard that can not locate networks?

OK, on the front of the printer, go to wireless menu and restore the default settings.

When you start the HP software to connect the wireless printer, make sure that the USB cable is NOT connected to the printer.  Only connect when the software tells you to do.

Be careful with the comments network, if your computer or printer connect you will not be able to print.
