I can not dlete some files.

I can't delete files, I copied the files on my pc from a mobile phone to friends, save its data, now I can't get rid of them from my pc.
The file types are .gif .png .xib .nib. The message I get is "cannot delete file".
Normal right-click options have also changed and delete is nothing more or rename.
I tried Malwarebytes who found the files as infected objects, but crashes when you try to delete. Any help would be received with joy.

Two options, I can think of to try.

1: make dragging files from the desktop to C drive and see if they will remove it from there.

2: unlocker File Remover

    Hello
One of our users are their files and missing files after the letter 'F' on their network drive. I checked on the server, and the files are missing on the server. However, I can browse to and open them. When I look in the windows explorer for this user, I do not see the folders and files passed letter 'F' But if I know the name of a file or folder that is there and manually type the name in the address bar, I can browse on him. For example, there is a folder named IBM. I see not the folder in windows explore. But if I type in the address bar (\\servername\username\IBM), I can see the contents of the file. If the files are there, but we cannot see them. So far only this user is having this problem isn't a question broad system.

I activated the hidden file parameter and it is set to show the hidden files and folders. The server is a windows 2003 SP2 Enterprise

    Thanks for your help

In the Explorer of-> tools-> view (tab), Folder Options->

In addition to checking "Show the hidden files and folders", try unchecking the "Hide protected operating system files" two lines down.  It will ask if you are sure you want to do this - simply replies 'yes '.

If it turns out that the system attribute has been applied to the file, you will not be able to change it in the Properties window.  You will need to use the "Attrib" command  See the following procedure article:

  • Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there

Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there. I even copied the file to the desktop, but research still cannot find the file. He may not get indexed. But on a search for *.mp3, it will include this file. I've searched all files and folders, file name or name part and content, but the search is empty.

The reason why I asked is that this *.mp3 IS a 'partial file name.

If the file is an MP3 file (music), I doubt if you could ever find by searching for "contained in the file," then relevant chess is why it was not found using the complete file name or part of the name.

If the file is not hidden, the only other thing I can think is that there is some special characters in the name of the file that is not obvious when you look at it.

For example, there was quite a "Drunk Philly' in 1974 called hit"when will be I see You Again"by the three degrees. Let's say you have decided to appoint an this (3) .mp3 mp3 file. It would be a legal folder name, but a search for 3º.mp3 won't find it. This is because the name of the file, I used the 'degree' (Unicode 00B 0) symbol and the search string uses the symbol "masculine ordinal' (Unicode 00BA). These symbols are almost identical to the nekkid eye (can not use the actual word here), but not to a computer search engine.

Replace any part of the name of the file, except the extension using the * wildcard would make the search works, but if you have used the 'partial' name, includes all who is this character, which could cause the problem.

To test, I suggest renaming the file. See if research there now. If so, rename, go back to what you think it was--but use the keyboard, not copy and paste to get the name of "origin". Search finds now?

Well, you don't say what files it used to open then try this. Control Panel, programs, by default, set your default progaams, Windows Photo Gallery, set this program as default.

I can't delete some files that I uploaded to the server. I get a notice: FTP an error occurred - cannot delete the PDF download server folder. Operation failed. The directory is not empty, or there may be a permission problem.

    What should I do?

Try to delete the files in your folder first.

If there is a permissions problem on the server that you cannot delete files, you need to contact your Site Administrator (if you have one) or your Web hosting provider.

  • "Paint can not support this file."

This is the message I have now received a photo that I worked in the paint in many previous occasions without any problems at all. (The full message is: "paint can not support this file.) Is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not supported. ") I can always adjust the picture (crop, rotate, etc.). I can also copy, print, and move it to another folder. But the paint does not recognize no - or any copy of it. Restarting the computer is not good. Also: Paint continues to recognize other photos from the same lot. I spent a lot of time working on this picture, and it's very painful. How can I get it back in the paint and how can I avoid this kind of thing doesn't happen this or other photos in the future?

Now I am answering my own post on the file that would not go back into the paint. (How people often sponsor their own questions?) It's still a mystery to me how the file passed in its original form (JPEG) to what paint has challenged that 'not a bitmap file valid.' But after trying all sorts of things, here's how I saved the file: first of all, I left it Windows Photo Gallery in Microsoft Office Picture Manager (which I've never used it before). I clicked on 'Export' - and at the same time changed the format JPEG bitmap - and then return the file modified images. Paint then accepted the image as a bitmap file, and as soon as he was in the paint, I used paint to return to a JPEG file. And now, it's just the way it was before all this started badly. Phew.
