I can restore my laptop hp to factory same so I deleted the recovery partition?
I deleted my mt computer recovery partition. but I want to turn back now. Help, please. I have the recovery disks.
Hello
Yes, it works perfectly. Show "Factory Reset", using your recovery disks reformatted the entire disk before you reinstall Windows 7, the software and the drivers originally shipped with the laptop and recreates the Windows 7 recovery Partition.

Satellite A200-10W: can I collect if I delete the hidden partition
I think Linux installation on my toshiba laptop, but before I do that I have a few questions.
I noticed I can do with my recovery dvd recovery, but I also have a hidden partition on the HARD drive.
If I install linux (and modify the original scores) can I still make recovery from recovery DVD I got with my new laptop?
(If I can't do what are my options to install linux and always perform a recovery to Vista later?)Hi Luka
Yes, you will be able to recover the laptop back to factory settings if you delete the hidden partition.
In this case, you will need to use the Toshiba Recovery CD to get to factory settings.
The hidden partition is used by Vista. Vista uses this partition for some backups and repair opportunities.
The use of the recovery CD will format the whole HARD drive and also create the partition hidden too.Greetings

How can I remove the recovery partition from a corrupt HARD drive that I replaced in a laptop?
I replaced a HDD corrupted in the laptop of a friend and you want to reuse. How can I delete the recovery partition? When I try to use my Windows 7 computer management tool, it will not access? I did a complete player wipe (twice) what the partition is still there and I can't remove it. It's 14 GB of space I want to retrieve and use the HARD drive in another system at a later date.
Thank you
Try the command line option:
Start cmd.exe as an administrator, then inside the window cmd, type
DiskPart
then, type diskpart
list disk
take note of the correct disc ID to clear
type
Select disk x
(where x is the ID of your disk to erase)
type
clean
your HARD drive will be erased completely
or you can try the magic of partition:
http://www.partitionwizard.com/
or if it does not work:
http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/
Hiren's boot cd and gparted tool available.
You must create a bootable CD or USB pen as media.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set; If you don't haver a recovery Partition.
You should have a DVD or a recovery Partition...
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
If you have problems with it, contact Dell.
Dell recovery options:
Above is Dell to reinstall Vista from the DVD on your computer.
And that way if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive.
See you soon

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.
It started 2 weeks ago - I had the legendary 'Black Screen of Death"and advises him to restore my laptop to its factory settings (all my documents etc are saved on an external hard drive). After the restoration, this is when the problems started. My computer is very slow. I know that's not the internet, I tried my sister's cell phone and the internet works fine.

HP pavilion 15 laptop: how to create the recovery partition?
By mistake, my little brother have formatted the recovery partition. I'm not able to refresh the PC through update & recovery option in the settings of your laptop... I have the unique language of HP Pavilion 15 notebook.windows 8.1. Please guide recreate me the partition...
Hello
Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome!
I'm afraid that you can't create partitions of recovery if they are deleted. End users cannot do.
If the computer is originally shipped with Windows preinstalled by HP (OEM of Windows for example), you can buy HP recovery media. They are generally cheap. You can use it to restore your computer to factory default condition. Here's how:
> > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07143
> > http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html
And once you receive the recovery [DVD or USB pen drive] media, here's how to use it to restore default factory/Windows to a condition:
> > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03489643
> > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC3sUc3lr3E
If the computer is originally not is not come with Windows pre-installed, but you install on your own after that, then you need to use the Windows installation media to reinstall Windows. You can get Windows installation ISOs from the Microsoft web site and then burn it to a DVD > > https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8
> > http://www.howtogeek.com/80094/how-to-burn-an-iso-image-in-windows-7/
Please, let me know if this helps and works for you. Feel free to post for follow-up questions.

How can I configure Satellite A300-148 boot from the recovery partition?
Hello
I had some problems when trying to install MAC - OSX, for her, where the partition table is deleted, then I retrieve the entire score as it is, but I can not start in any case.
Then I decide temproraly install another copy of vista drive Vista (not the partition), then set up my laptop to boot from the recovery partition and reinstall the good copy.
My problem is, it's all here, the only problem is, I need to configure the system to boot from the recovery partition. My device is:
Satellite A300-148Thanks to the device.
Ahmed.Hello
If you have already changed the partitions of HARD drive and deleted files from the HARD disk, then your HARD drive recovery is too bad!
But to make sure that the HARD drive recovery is not possible please press F8 immediately after the power of the laptop. Usually a start menu should appear and you should be able to choose the option called fix my computer. Then you should be able to choose recovery option.
But like I said that this is only possible if your HARD drive was not formatted!
If you have formatted the HARD drive and changed partitions then you will need a Toshiba DVD recovery that you have not because you didn t he create at the beginning. Is this good? Well, then you must order the recovery DVDs if you want to retrieve the laptop to factory settings.
Welcome them

I have a pavilion dv7-6b50ei notebook pc purchased 2012. He always gives a command prompt pop up who don't stay long enough to read. I felt too there is a virus on it that my anti-virus did not solve so I tried the factory reset, but when I restart and press F11 it gives an error (something like a boot... is missing). so I tried my recovery disks. CD 1 of 4 ran fine but disk 2 continues to stop with an error. Now, the laptop will not charge because I think that the operating system was formatted during the recovery and do not know what to do. I feel disc 2 is bad too because he also gave an error trying to copy on a USB key. I also tried an external dvd and run the hp hard disk test; the hard drive passed the test. If I can get a new set of recovery discs, it would solve my problem. In addition, I look forward to ideas. Help, please.
Hello
There are two options available.
1. you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office). They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.
2 another option that you might consider is to create your own Windows 7 installation disc.
Before you try the following, make sure that you can still read all the key character product activation 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).
An example of a COA label can be seen here.
You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the Disk Image correct ( this must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - it is listed as Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here. The source of the Windows Image is Digital River.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1.
Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

You may need, additional drivers and software are here.
Kind regards

Try to restore from the recovery partition
I'm trying to restore my laptop to its original state by using the restore partition. I formatted the C drive, but the recovery partition was left in place. Is there a way to do this? I, unfortunately, do not appear to have the recovery CD I did a disk with Acronis image that seems to be a joke as it will not restore anything. Would appreciate any advice you can give me at this point.
My laptop was a Vista Home, if that helps.
Thank you
Peg
Recovery disks must be always available for your laptop.
These links are dead to 99% of the numerous times, reported, several times.
Contact HP you Chat, email and phone options here. Personally I had good results with the cat.

Can I safely delete the D partition on the HARD drive?
Second question: my laptop came with the HD in two partitions, C and d is there a purpose for this and I can easily (safely) delete the D partition?
You can do what you want and you can create a partition but HARD DISK with two partitions has since. All important data, you can save the second one (D). If something is wrong with the operating system you can install it at any time on the partition c. on this way, all your data will still be there.
The delivered use recovery media, you can use the configuration option and select installation on already created the C partition.
I recommend you leave him with two partitions.
