  Please uncheck 'Show online storage when you save files' under ' Edit > Preferences > general.

  Then, to restart the player and try saving the file again.

  Uninstall Acrobat Reader DC using tool cleaning Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

  Then install Reader using this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution and check if it solves your problem.

  Hello. Years, I used Notepad to edit HTML Web pages, that I create. Now, when I try to save an edited file I get this error message:

  "Cannot create the C:\Users\mccdaddy\Websites\Factotum\index.html file.

  The only way I can save a modified file is to change his name, so I now "index1.html", "index2.html", etc. It's crazy. I've never had to go through this before.

  OK, I solved the problem by chance, and I'll leave the solution here if someone has the same problem.

  Namely, my Finder browser "save the file" has been on "Sort by date", and this mode will not access library. I went to "sort by name", and the library with user-defined shades reappeared. (Do not know what is the logic of this, but there you go).

  Note that the disk should be in Mac format.  If you are not sure, check using disk utility.

  I also appreciate that fact that you want to save the updates of Windows on another drive or location in order to increase the free space in C; drive.

  Save updates of Windows on another drive location is not recommended because it can cause corruption in the system files which can lead to some unstable operating system. It can also affect Windows start the process.

  Updates are automatically downloaded into the subfolder "C:\WINDOWS\Software Distribution\Download".

  If you want to increase the disk space, I suggest you run Disk Cleanup and check if it helps.
