  Yes, as Trevor mentioned, with the bridge, you can press the space bar and the images will become full framework, then you simply use the arrow keys to scroll though them and the space bar to return to the visualization of bridge normally. There is also a slide show option.

My operating system is XP so I Clkd OK. Then the previous screen reappears again saying "iCloud Panel 2.1.2 for Windows.  I have clked the download button and a screen comes up saying "file download security warning. Do you want to run or save this file "iCloud Set up Exe download Apple.com Support." I have clkd Run. Then a creen sppears saying "Internet Explorer security. You want to run iCloud of Apple Inc."I have clkd Run and another sppeared screen saying"iCloud Control Panel requires Windows Vista or later." I have clkd Run and another screen appears with the following stmt. "iCloud control panel installation completed.  Setup encountered errors before iCloud Control Panel can be configured. Your system has not changed. To retry these operations at a leter time, please run Setup again. CLK finish to exit the installation program. " I have finished clkd and I tried a few more times to install the program, but to no avail.  My question is this.  Is it possible to download the photo stream of iCloud to a computer with windows XP as operating system or do I have an Apple ID and iCloud?       John W

  I'm trying to find a way to upload several photos at the same time of the iCloud on my iPhone. I took a folder from my computer Windows 10 and placed in the iCloud folder.   Instead of using iCloud Drive, add those photos from your PC to the photo library to iCloud. On your phone, with the same identifier Apple and iCloud library enabled, photos will be sync to iCloud on your phone and stay in the synchronized.

  I am aware that Lightroom is able to import and work with files of a cloud storage location. The files must be available on a disk internal, external or network drive.

  I guess you will have to use another application or you OS computer to download the files.

• iMovie can't see photos optimised and stored in iCloud

  Apparently if you chose "Optimize Mac storage" in the preferences of Photos, and you use iCloud library, then apps like iMovie and Final Cut Pro will not see your photos at all. Sometimes you can see some pictures at random, unless some reason OS mechanism optimization flying over, but you will have trouble to get your recent photos.

  The only way to import necessary photos is to export (file-> export) in Photos app.

  At this point I don't know if cela a feature or bug, but I'm sure it's less easy to use and I can hardly find a reason to do so.

  Maybe I'm missing something?

  It's not a bug, but how it works.  To use one of the photos in another application or project in Photos full size version must be downloaded beforehand.

  DON'T you can't delete them directly from iCloud if the photos are in a backup. If you delete it from the phone and then back up again, they will disappear from the backup to iCloud.

  iCloud is not an ideal situation to manage and store photos, IMO. You must import your photos to a computer, and then it won't matter if you delete them from your phone.

  If you want your photos backed up, you must import them into the photos on the computer application that synchronize you with. iCloud photo library is a repository for all the photos for a given iCloud ID. However, it is not required for the care of your photos. I do not use iCloud photo library - import my photos into the library of Photos on my Mac.

  A backup of your device iCloud will save your current film, but if you remove anything from this film, then it will not be available for retrieval at a later date, because backups replace the previous backup version. A backup is so not an archive safe for your photos or videos.

  Photo stream keeps the last 30 days or 1000 photos taken with your camera if you have Photo Stream on, but once again, it's a temporary storage that gets crushed. Photo stream is intended to provide a method of sharing photos between the signed devices on the same iCloud account, but is not intended as an archive.

  Import your pictures and videos on a computer means that all photos and videos are kept in a library on your computer and will be accessible. It is the only safe way to archive your photos:
