Hello:
If the network controller device is missing, then the driver installed and you should now see an Intel 5100 WiFi card listed in the category network adapters in the Device Manager.
You should now be able to connect to wireless internet.
The other two drivers you posted the ID for are the following:
First install it and reboot.
The other is the graphics card that needs a driver.
One of the unknown devices is probably this one...
Another unknown devices is probably this one...
You must display the hardware for the 3rd ID like you did the others. If it is listed as being unknown, it does not start with PCI\VEN. Right after the top line of characters.

How to connect to wireless internet?
I just reinstalled WinXP (2002 I think) from my (old) Dell Latitude D610 laptop installation disc.
I did it just to get rid of unnecessary and old programs that I didn't.I remember I used to be able to connect to wireless internet, but my father, who once used this computer says he thinks that it has deleted the ability (?).If I doControl Panel > network connections >There is nothing in the record that says wireless or LAN or it is supposed to sayIn the lower right corner of the task bar, there is no symbol for itIf I doMy computer > properties > Device Manager >There is no network card anywhere, but it has Ethernet controller, network controller, PCI Modem and PCI Simple Communications Controller all with '! ' for their icons. In addition, there is no switch for the adapter to network/radio outside the computer.I feel that this computer has maybe just need to be connected by a wire, but has no sense because it's a laptop and I don't remember having need to be wired previouslyThanks guys,.
I think I've fixed everything.I got all the drivers I needed pcidatabase.com and installed all my without wire works, and so I need drivers for others.Do you think that a computer of this old (7 years) is worth keeping?I do not have access to newer computers, but it runs pretty quickly because it did downloaded to it. If this is the case, you think I should update in any way?Once again, thank you for your help. -
I can't connect to wireless internet with windows vista
I bought a new HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with Windows Vista and I tried to connect to the internet from my laptop via router ADSL2 + wireless D-link but my network is not visible wireless.
I tried to plug my ether cable and this time my network was visible, but it would not connect.
I am able to connect from another laptop with windows XP wireless through the same router.
My HP laptop connects via WiFi in other places, but not at home via D-link router.
I am not able to connect to internet from my laptop HP since I bought it 9 months ago.
What can possibly be the reason? Can you help me connect to the internet?
Thank you
It seems that your settings are not correct for the access provider or router (or both). I suggest that you contact your ISP and have them walk you step by step in the process of installation and configuration and do not let them off the coast of the Nigerian line you have a good connection, as you wish. They know that the parameters so that we don't have, so they can help you better than we can, and I'm sure they will be happy to do.

I have a laptop with Windows XP. After getting a virus, I scanned with AVG and removed the threat. After re-booting, I can not connect to wireless internet. The icon shows "acquiring network address". I connected the router directly on laptop computer connected to the wireless network and still unable to connect. I tried to restore the system as well, but the message says "unable to restore the system, no changes were made. Help?

Unable to connect to wireless internet after Windows Vista update on 16/09/10
Since I've updated windows I cannot access my wireless internet connection, however, I am still able to connect via the LAN port.
If I check my ipconfig it says under the "media disconnected" wireless network connection I tried to get my IP address into my settings because they seem to have disappeared, but I can't always wireless. I ran all Windows diagnostic tools, but all say that the internet connection is fine (due to it being connected by the LAN port).
I also tried to fix it by other solutions on this forum, that is
- Open Set Up a Wireless Router or Access Point by clicking theStart button, clickingControl Panel, clicking network and Internet, and then clicknetwork and sharing Center. In the left pane, clickset up a connection or network, and thenset up an access point or wireless router.
The result of the message is ' Windows has detected network hardware, but it cannot automatically configure "and when I try to manually configure the server requires a user name and password which I don't have.
Please could shed you some light on this case for me?
Thank you very much
Hello
I tried everything above without result. However, I managed to reinstall my wireless router software after having repaired my DVD driver software. I restarted my computer and Wireless does not work. Reinstalled the software new and restarted the computer, and then after a short period of time the computer connected to wireless internet! Not know not why the remedy has been delayed or why it did not work after the first attempt, but it connects wireless now - what I know is that this problem occurred after an update of Windows, it's a shame that Microsoft failed to address this problem as it was their update it as many other people have also claimed.
A big thank you to everyone who offered advice.

Hi guys, my laptop cannot connect to wireless internet. I tried to use ConfigFree Diagnostic tests already installed on my computer, reset the router, and even taking on the router for 30 seconds and put it to. On my laptop wireless switch is turned on, too. Is the only way I can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable and I started to disconnect from the wireless internet just yesterday. I know that my router is not the problem because I have a laptop connected to her brother. Also, I tried the FN + F8 key on my Toshiba laptop. Thank you in advance.

All my other computers are connected again and the router and the modem seems to work properly. I have a hp Pavilion dv6700. I can't connect to the internet wireless however I can via ethernet. my computer is Windows vista... pls help... Thanks in advanceHello
Maybe this can help.
These steps and tell us where is the breaking point.
Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.
http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg
If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.
Check network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.
http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

The wireless card drivers much also install utility wireless of the seller.
Make sure that if there are teas from Wireless Utility of seller does not work with the native Windows wireless utility (Service WLAN).

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.
Some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible set up the firewall correctly, otherwise totally uninstall and get rid of its remaining processes that permit the own local network traffic flow.
If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .
party like Hello and NetMagic 3rd network managers can block local traffic too.

Stack TCP/IP work should look like.
Right-click on the wireless network connection card, select status, details and see if she got an IP address and the rest of the settings.
http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/status-NIC.jpg
Description is the data of the card making.
The physical address is MAC of the card number.
The xx must be a number between 0 and 255 (all xx even number).
YY should be between 0 and 255
ZZ should be between 0 and 255 (zz all the same number.)
The date of the lease must be valid at the present time.
* Note 1. IP that starts with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx isn't valid functional IP.
* Note 2. There could be an IPv6 entries too. However, they are not functional for Internet or LAN traffic. They are necessary for Win 7 homegroup special configuration.
---------------------------------------------------
A message in the small window that says connected wireless doesn't means that you are really a valid functional connection.
Above everything is OK, you must be able to connect to the router.
Connection to the router means that you can enter the IP of the router base in an address bar in one go, being able to connect and configure the router menus see.
If it doesn't connect to the router, journal newspaper from any computer that can connect to the router wirelessly with a wire, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless SSID broadcast is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.
Enable security wireless after you eat to make a functional connection.

mobile broadband stick too big causing me not able to connect my wireless receiver optical mouse
ACER dear community,
I need your help or solutions. My problem is about my mobile broadband using stick and wireless optical mouse at the same time. I just bought a laptop Acer V13 and excited to use when I'm out and about. I have more access to public wifi and that's why I have this mobile broadband USB which I bought at my local service provider so that I can connect to the internet with it. This stick allows me to connect to the internet with a prepaid SIM in it. I'm sure you know what I describe about. I'm just explaining in detail. In any case, my stick is kinda huge. Then, when I plug in my USB port 1, I can't plug my mouse receiver into the other USB port wireless because the stick took so much space. I wish the USB ports were in separate locations, or at least a few inches on the other. Is there anyone out there who can give me suggestions or ideas on what to do? I know that this question is lame, but ideas and suggestions will really help me. Thank you very much!
As mentioned above. I discovered that I can not use several hubs extension BUT... it works when you use usb single exntension. Managed to solve the problem and I finally can I plug my mouse wireless receiver so my stick mobile broadband. See photo!

I have problems to connect to any wireless internet - home, library, coffee shops. He used to work, began to get in trouble (i.e. could not connect sometimes to the diner, but works in the library) and now does not connect to internet AT ALL wireless.
Only connects to the network saying "local only". And I'm lucky even get that much. Furthermore, I don't know if it's a router problem or what, but it does not even accept the password for my home network (my boyfriend has no problem on the internet with Windows 7 and the current router password).
I use a HP G60 laptop (maybe?), I don't remember the model exactly. Windows Vista. I am frustrated beyond belief. I took the computer to Best Buy and the man suggested that contact Microsoft because, in his own words, "this seems to be a very common problem with the adapter wireless in Windows Vista".
In summary: is it a hardware or a software problem? It seems to be a software problem that can have an impact on the material. Nevertheless, what can I do to fix this? Y at - it a software update, I need to try for my wireless card?
This computer is not yet a year old, and already I am unable to use it for the internet. Not very well I plug my ethernet cable router wireless in the library. I bought a laptop for a reason, but it is on track to achieve more like a desktop. Very disappointing.
Someone, please help!

Hello
When the man from BestBuy, fortunately for us technology is not a cleaning product, there is no way of knowing if someone puts his hand on it and knowing what is wrong rather than moving oral reprimand...
First step, log on to the HP support and download the latest drivers for your wireless card.
The HPG60 is a very good phone but its wireless card has problems with old drivers.
In which case it's a hardware problem, contact HP support.
In general, you can use this process to find out what's wrong with the wireless.
Most laptops have a physical switch for the wireless card. Read the manual of the computer and make sure that the wireless adapter is on.
Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.
http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg
If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.
Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.
Above everything is OK and it connects to the wireless router. Log in from any computer which is, or can be connected to the router with a wire wireless, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless streaming is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.
When the work turns on the Wireless security.
Note * people sometimes make mistakes in writing and retype the password for security.
Another way is to copy in the menu of the router and then paste it when asked of the wireless card.
--------------------------------------------------
I really checked and configured every thing and it doesn't work.
Software firewall application that is not configured to allow local traffic (between the computer and the router is also a possible problem.
some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .Jack-MVP Windows Networking. WWW.EZLAN.NET
