• BlackBerry smartphones, I can't access my e-mail account on my Bold 9780

  Can you please help me.  I have connected my Bold9780 to my PC and I learned there was an upgrade of the unit and that it would take time.  I turned it off and my computer crashed (power failure). At first everything seemed ok, the upgrade seems to have been successfully installed.

  However, I can't send or receive e-mails now.  I tried to reconcile and all, nothing happens.  If I try to access my email via the settings that I just get a message saying "your camera has a problem connecting to the internet" and I gave RETRY or CANCEL I retried load times without success.  The phone and SMS work very well, but I can't access all the apps either as it is just says 'server not found '.

  Is it possible to come back to my email or I'll have to go back to factory reset.  I'm an ODP and not very technical which makes it the most annoying for me too!

  Of course, you can retrieve your email service and we will help you with it.  First of all, let's get the service books sent to your phone once again, just in case that's the problem.  From your home screen, go to Options > device > advanced system settings > host Routing Table or Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table, depending on what operating system your phone is running.  Once on the host Routing Table, press your menu button and select Save now to have the service books sent to your phone.

  Try this and post back with your results.

  Go ahead and upgrade to same 9.3.5 so that will probably not solve the problem of electronic mail (additional security is important). Then try to reset your email account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider, click the account, and the blow to remove. Then restart the unit. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.   Firefox does not have an email, there is no "accounts of Firefox. If you access "electronic mail" with Firefox, you can use web mail. Some web mail services do not allow direct access, they want their users to access their mail from a "portal" or "Home" and will redirect any attempt to load a web site page "internal" return to home page.

  It is possible to send a text message (SMS) to a phone by email (look for "sms e-mail gateway"), but I don't know if you can join this way, i.e. MMS pictures. The simplest method would be for the recipient create an e-mail account on the phone. If they can't or won't, but they can access the web via a browser, I guess you could upload photos on one of the free file hosting services photo and send them links using the email-to-text method mentioned above.
