I can't build a Setup program for my program

I'm building an installer for my program, but I keep to says that I must tell the system where are installers.

I've attached a screenshot of what tells me to find, but told me not to find something specific. I made sure all drivers are up to date, but I can't yet build a Setup program.

    Which edition of windows 7 you are using?

    Step 1: This game is not compatible with windows 7. You can try to install in compatibility mode and check.

    Step 2: If you still experience the same problems of compatibility in install / playing this game you can use windows XP mode.

    Windows XP mode cannot be installed on the following editions on windows 7.

    Thanks for posting. Try the following steps. Warning: the following may make your computer unbootable. Please make sure that you have a backup before performing the steps.

    Click Start
    Go to the Run
    Type "msconfig".
    Press ENTER.

    In this window, select the Boot.ini tab.
    In this window uncheck the option "/ SafeBoot".

  • I can't get out of safe mode when starting, and can not run the Setup program from windows XP in safe mode.

    I have a XP box that would only start in safe mode.  I needed to repair windows, so I started updating reinstall option but to reboot it says it cannot run in safe mode then it tries to boot into normal mode but crashes - which is what I am tring to solve.  Now I'm stuck because the computer is now making a loop and I'm stuck.  There is no available recovery console, it shows just the installation restart then goes into the shot.  If I try to launch safe mode, that it says cannot run update in safe mode then restarts in normal mode, which hangs then.  I'm stuck.  Boy the days where I wish I could just make the prompt C:\.  Thank you.

    I'm still not 100% convinced that you boot from the CD. Your Dell has the option of F12 to select a boot real-time device (as soon as you turn on the PC)? Also, remember that you have to "press any key to boot from the CD" when you see this screen! Of course, during a reboot, you start from the hard drive.

    Even if you did everything by the book, a repair installation could easily 'loop' as you describe. But as long as your hardware is healthy, a clean install is done.

    The fact is that this problem is not solvable, apparently.

    The problem is with the application signing certificate, as you can see issuing the command:

    Install.app: CSSMERR_TP_CERT_REVOKED

    So, here we have a certificate of _revoked_, not a certificate/developer unknown or app unsigned.

    Indeed, unfortunately the problem persists even disabling Gatekeeper:

    co-pays disabled

    since apparently a revoked certificate is not an error that can be ignored or circumvented somehow.

    As far as I KNOW, the idea behind this is: Apple actually provide no verification quality on applications (they are not "approved by") but may possibly (if there are "problems") block a via the recall mechanism. Because of this, the _revoked? _ check cannot be bypassed/disabled. I'll try as soon as POSSIBLE an upgrade of the OS to see if with the Mountain Lion (10.8) I can possibly force execution Install.app, but chances appear to be rare so far.

    So, Adobe, can you help me please?

    FB4.6 is essential because it is the last version with DV. I had to install FB46 on Windows to keep working, but it's no doubt slow me down as everything is on Mac.

    Hello all, good news: after updating to 10.8.5, Mountain Lion I was able to run the Setup program and all went well.

    Mountain lion allows the user force execution through the command open context menu (CTRL-click) and it works, just as simple as that.

    So my advice is: If you want to install or reinstall Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac with Lion installed, updated to Mountain Lion or better to avoid problems.

    Apple introduced some (not all) Gatekeeper 10.7.3 and following features, but apparently you need a full-fledged 10.8 to also have what you need to work around a revoked certificate error.

    Since usually OS X has auto update active, if you run Lion you find with 10.7.5 and do not install FB46. If you manage to somehow hold 10.7.2 I guess you should be able to install FB46, sincerely I don't check it out. In any case, it is simpler and safer to move to 10.8.x.

    However, I am trying to sign my application and download it, so it will be available when playbooks are starting to be sold next month.

    I got my signature key and computer recorded, and everything worked perfectly the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. But the SDK, I had in January of obviously won't complie with the signing key, then I will try now to move from beta 1 to beta3

    However, the installation program itself for the WW SDK Beta3 seems to have issues... (I can't wait until hastily to all questions on the forum after I get installed)

    I was expected some compliing or test problems, but not a problem with the real install extraction itself.

    You can only make a version for the OS that you have a license for and the number of bit OS you are using. In other words, you need LabVIEW for Linux or LabVIEW for Mac to create exe for them and you need 64-bit LabVIEW Windows to generate a 64-bit exe. It requires to move the source code for other development systems.

    Lets say that the pictures are .jpg

    OK... just right-click a .jpg photo thumbnail or file name and
    the menu choose... Properties / General tab / change button...

    In the menu choose... Microsoft Office Picture Manager...
    OK / apply / OK...

    That should do it.

    FWIW... If you are running Win XP... the following free PowerToy
    makes it very easy and fast to resize batches of photos.
