I can't change my security and privacy settings.

I am trying to install a software, but I can only download "Mac App Store and identified developers." Even after the release, it is grayed out and I can't make changes. When I move my mouse over it, it says that "this option is not available because it is managed by your system administrator. It's not logical because I am the admin of my own computer; Nobody else uses my computer. I've seen other forums on change my password, but I already tried without success. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello lich51644,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that when you try to change your general security settings & privacy, the part for "allow applications downloaded on:" is grayed out.  This indicates that the padlock in the bottom left of this window is still blocked, then you will need to click the lock and enter your administrator password.  If you don't remember your administrator password, and then follow the steps in the link below to reset.

Reset the user password in OS X Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks and Yosemite

See you soon.
