I can't click the upper icon on all Web sites

I have connected to my Facebook account, unfortunately I can not click the top icon on this page such as House, notifications, messages, etc. The worst part is I can't disconnect from Facebook Web page. Then I try to surf sites, same problems occur where I can't click on the above icon. Why what happened? for your info, I use the company desktop PCs.

The extension of the Yahoo! toolbar and the extension of Babylon have been reported because of this problem. Disable or uninstall the modules.

    I use Firefox 24.0.

    1.) get in Firefox.
    2.) open any page you want to view the source code.
    3.) after full opening of the page "right-click" then you can see the source view of the page, click on it to see the Source of the page.

  • How can I delete the history for a particular Web site

    I want to delete all the references/history of a Web site/url. I do not wish to cancel all the recent history.
    I tried to delete them in the dropdown under the URL entry slot but they keep appearing.

    Chantry,

    Go to history, then in the search box type the base URL of the Web site. For example, so eager to delete support. Mozilla.com, you would type Mozilla.com and he would then list the history of this server or URL, if you simply want to remove support.mozilla.com woul you type that in. Then click once on the line and press the delete key.

  • Can I use family safety to allow all Web sites in the "public interest" and to block some specified Web sites?

    I use Windows 8 and I want to create an account for the kids to use for homework.

    It seems reasonable to allowing all Web sites in the category 'general interest '. I also want to block specific Web sites that I know can be distracting.

    It seems that this should be easy. I just select the category of the "general interest" and also add sites to the blocked list. However, it gives me not the behavior I expect. I find that in the list of the blocked websites are accessible as usual.

    Shouldn't this approach do I want? In the affirmative, please can you give some advice on why I see this problem.

    Thank you

    Ben

    I found the answer to my original problem - some products McAfee has also installed and was interfering with parental control.

  • How can I delete the redirect "go to a Web site?

    Hello. I would like to know how to remove the redirection to the navigation bar when I open a new tab. everytime I open a new tab, that I put it so I come to my home page, google. But instead of heading to the search bar in the center of the site, as it usually does when you type in the address and press ENTER, it redirects me to the navigation bar, whatever it takes and makes the text "go to a Web site. I don't want this, I want so it puts me in the search bar as if I would have typed the address in the navigation bar. Thanks in advance.

    This is how works the new tab page.

    It works with the build-in on: home page, but not with web pages as Google search page (www.google.com)

  • can I customize the display of a single Web site, instead of solving for all?

    I have two very similar intranet applications, one part of the production, other development. I don't have any options with the creation or maintenance of these sites, but they appear exactly the same when I work in test 1, in the other. I would like to change the display fonts or colors, or something to help me to make the distinction between the two applications. Can you offer any suggestions?
    Thank you

    1. Install Stylish and restart Firefox when prompted.

    2. Click on the stylish icon on the navigation toolbar and select Write New Style and then blank style.
    3. Paste the following text in the text box. Change the style according to your needs: in particular, to change the URL at the top.
    4. Type a name for the style, and then click the "Save" button.
    @-moz-document url-prefix("https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/") {

    body::before {
      content: "DEVELOPMENT SITE" !important;
      display: block !important;
      font: bold 14pt "Segoe UI" !important;
      background: maroon !important;
      color: mintcream !important;
    }

    }

    If you do not want to install an add-on, you can use the file userContent.css instead, but I do not recommend.

  • How can I change the opening page to show Web sites

    I used to have a home page that showed my most visited wensites that I always went to now all I get is a blank page. How can I change this back

    Sorry for the confusion. Home page (shows when you open a new window by pressing Ctrl + n) and the new tab (shown when you open a new tab by pressing Ctrl + t) are different parameters.

    To specify the steps for the second part of the answer of cor - el more in detail:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

    Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked. Fixed?

    Since it's the integrated behavior, the fact that it changed usually attributed to an add-on. But an add-on is not used to choose a blank page, it doesn't choose a search engine or advertising, so... no idea of what happened, and I hope that when you changed the setting, it will be fine to go ahead.

  • Impossible to navigate the hyperlink in the upper part of a Web site using Firefox

    I can't navigate the hyperlink at the top of a Web site using Firefox. For example, in the site Web of Firefox, the cursor does not change 'arrow' to 'hand' when I point to 'Sign Out' or 'Inbox '. But it's ok for the rest of the site (i.e. the top right).

    However, if I use Internet Explorer, I havn't met the same problem. Help please advise.

    This problem is caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.
