  Have a mac book pro that I had 12 or 13.  Adobe Photoshop cs 6 were installed.  I had the system works on my personal photos, but don't have to it until recently.  Then when I went to use, I could not turn on.  I took it to a local repair shop and they diagnosed a bad hard drive.  they put in a new and said they had transferred all of the files and had Photoshop re-installed using the old hard drive.  I started to do some work inside in Photoshop 2 days.  Now I can't get into Photoshop.  He just guard loading forever.  I even asked the person to Apple at the local Best Buy store.  I was about to uninstall and reinstall, but I can't find my copy of CS6.  Hope that there is something that can be done.

  Convert raw DNG images using the Adobe DNG Converter program free of charge your Sony raw images. Then import the DNG versions in Lightroom.

  "Adobe DNG Converter" is not part of Lightroom (or Photoshop), but a separate (standalone).

  You "run" program, select the folder of images from Sony, select a folder for the output DNG files.

  CS5 to create problems to update the menu help.  Best to download and install manually.

  Another problem with CS5 was the Bridge opens as a process in the background and must be closed in the taskbar > hidden icons before updating.

  Here are two things to try:
   
  The file is saved in the Temporary Internet Files folder. To locate the path, open the attachment to new then, and now Alt, press F, and to open the Save as window. In the save window slot, right-click on another file in the list, and then click Properties. On the general tab, copy the full path to the location. Then, open a Windows Explorer window and paste the path copied into the address field. This is where the edited file was saved.
   
  Since Christmas

  Copy this line:

  Search-MS:DisplayName=temp%20Files&crumb=ext%3AZZZ*&crumb=location:shell:cache%5CContent.IE5

  Now press Windows-E, Ctrl-Alt-D-V

  ZZZ change to the extension of the file you edited, and then press enter.

  This should show all the recently saved files in temporary Internet files with this extension. Good luck!

  PS Si the file is, please copy in your documents folder before anything else. Open the copy to work.

  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.
