Whenever I run PSCS5, these are my steps: file > import > video layers images, but when I click on the folder I put my videos in, no videos appear in this folder.   Silkrooster is correct. WMV is not a QT CoDec / Format is not compatible with the legacy AVI handler. You must convert it into another program first before being able to use it in PS. something VirtualDub for Adobe Media Encoder...

  In the preferences of Photos make sure your library is the library system. It must be indicated as grey. Then open photos before opening iMovie and it should appear.

  Drag, or export them to Magnatune or choose homepage from the Finder Go menu, double click on photos and drag the library as a unit of a volume format Mac OS extended.

  If you have the book go to the collection of recorded books. Right-click (Ctrl-click) on that collection name and choose "set as target Collection.

  Back to other folders and select the picture you want to add, and then press the B key.

  When you return to the book module you can drag additional photos of the film in the pages.

  Hi all, I upgraded a library iPhotos to the new Photos app when it first came out. Since I am aware that Lightroom had a 'Import iPhoto' plugin, I always thought a 'Import of Photos' plugin would be available. But from my research on the Internet, it seems that Adobe has not developed a. My problem is that I have spent a lot of time to organize my photos into albums in the new library of Photos app, and I can't afford to redo all this back in Lightroom. These aren't simple stereotypes that can be simply rearranged by date - they are images of a multi-year research project and have 36 000 photographs relating to very specific categories of information. Given that many photos appear on several albums, it is not as easy as the export of each album as a group to, and then import them into Lightroom to keep separated/grouped.

  I would be grateful for any help on how to import my library of Photos in Lightroom (CC or other) while keeping the organization from the album - the knowledge to see if Adobe (or a third-party developer?) has plans to make a plug-in similar to the one they had for iPhotos. Essentially, the current limitation means that I cannot become a permanent user of Lightroom and will to always be attached to my Photos app.

  PS - open my photo library in iPhoto does not work either - it shows that the albums I've done until I upgraded to Photos, not worth year-end additional organization I've done since. I was surprised by that, because I was hoping it would be a miracle solution (i.e. opening of new photo library in iPhoto, then using "Import from iPhoto" Lightroom plugin).

  You should be able to export versions of Photos with IPTC metadata. Export to the desktop or even better, in a folder on a regular basis using the Finder. Import duplicates in Lightroom and you should be able to quickly use keywords to make collections if you add temporary words prior to export.

  You can try this: find the serial number of your product Adobe quickly

  You should also keep your serial numbers for all programs (not only Lightroom) in a place where you can find them easily.

  I am running Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.6 and when I import pictures I store them on a different HD to the OS which is my D drive.

  Normally, what happens is that Lightroom selects the last location of folder used to store the photos automatically, but since I have updated it keeps defaulting to the root of D.

  Does anyone know how I can fix this apart from changing the situation whenever I have import the photos?

  Hi guys,.

  I'm looking for suggestions app IOS to geotag my photos and import these data into Lightroom.  I have seen a few where it records your GPS location and then time it synchronizes with the photos you take.  I'm not 100% sure how to import these data into Lightroom, so if you could help explain it or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

  The formsbuilder does not take care of what you put in the file. For the forms Builder, you will need to set this variable in the registry.

• Could not find iPhoto/Photos to import into Lightroom

  I'm new to Lightroom. I downloaded the creative Amazon Cloud literally last night. When I click on the "Import" button, it evokes the access to the essentially all of the files on my computer with the exception of the pictures that have been uploaded to iPhoto/photos for October 2015. I tried all means to find a link to these photos, and it's as if they don't exist to Lightroom. Outside of Lightroom, I noticed now that when I look at 'Images' in my Finder window, there are all my old photos (before 10/2015) and a file called "iPhoto library" and a file called "photo library". None of these files can be opened from the finder. If the photo is opened, all the images are there.

  I feel like there is something corrupt going on behind the scenes that is bad orientation of my photos. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  Right-click on the photo library, and then select "view the contents of the package. What happens will be many subfolders. One of them will be named Masters. There you will find all your images. But LR cannot access it from this file/folder of the package. You will need to copy or move the Masters folder to another location on your hard drive for LR to see.

  I have an SVG file which appears fine in InkScape, but poster wrongly lines as huge thick blocks in Illustrator. The SVG file was created initially by the Sibelius 7 music notation application. The only reason why I consider buy Illustrator would be importing Sibelius generated SVG files for graphical manipulation. So I'd like to sort this point or it's a big no-no to Illustrator.   Just a few questions / observations;

  (1) I noticed on the web page of Sibelius 7, it can also export to pdf. Have you tried this export, then import that into Illustrator?

  (2) say you that these are multiple pages (up to 70?). Illustrator isn't optimal for multi-page files. Have you looked into InDesign?

• Wrong number of photos to import into Lightroom 6.6

  I'm new to this, so please excuse me if I make mistakes ;-)

  When I sync files in Lightroom 6.6, a wrong number of new pictures to import appears.

  If I synchronize without adding new files, LR insists that 371 new files are found. However, the files are not displayed (because they aren't there, of course) but LR keep finding these "ghosts of the files.

  How can I me LR to "forget" these files?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  OK, as far as I know, it's what's supposed to happen when you synchronize files that have been imported from photos. County shows all photos in the folder and then, when you click on synchronize, Lightroom realizes that there is no new pictures to add, and so there is effectively nothing. If there were a few new files to add and some old files that does not need to be added, the number in the dialog box would be all the photos in the folder; and then that would be added the new files.

• Why are all my black rotating photos to import into lightroom?

  I have been using Lightroom for over a year now and I have about 15 000 + photos. I have not had problems to import until the last update, I did. Since this recent update, when I import my card or my external hard drive, the images don't appear, then a start to disappear. I watch as the histogram developing passes from the original information to all black. I'm so confused, and I lost a whole evening time I desperately need editing. Everyone knows this? I'm working on a new Mac and using Creative Cloud Lightroom.
