• Can I manually set the maximum size of the thumbnail cache?

  I notice that in a folder with a large number of photos, there seems to be a limit to how much stored thumnails. If I quickly scroll the I get to a point where I have to slow down and wait for the thumnails to regenerate. I wish I could store all thums so I can go to any point in the subdirectory and see them with no delay (the whole point of a cache). I have 4 GB of RAM so I don't care if it uses a fair bit to do this. Y at - it a key option or the configuration of the registry to set the maximum size? I have Vista Home Premium x 64.

  Except there is no way to increase the size for the thumbnail cache.  You are able to clear the cache and I saw on third party internet providers that offer this possibility.  But the operating system is not an option to increase.

• Why can't I reduce the file size of virtual disk?

  Workstation help 8.0.4, why is the file size of virtual disk for my more bigger than the amount of space used within the instance instance?

  The instance (Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit) HARD drive is 40 GB... He is currently using 28.6 GB of this space.

  But the hard for instance file is 34.5 GB size - it is more than 20% larger.

  I defragmented the drive on the instance.

  I defragmented and compacted file hard (via the 'vmware-vdiskmanager' command line utility)

  I defragmented the host drive.

  Any not really - I'm just curious as to why I can't get it down to a smaller size (mainly to speed up backups)

  Narrowing of a virtual disk is done in two steps. Unused disk space must first be cancelled in the comments, what OS, then blocks not null the hard are copied to a new file hard. With VMware Workstation 8, you can start this process in the VMware Tools window (right-click the icon in the system tray)

  I'm having a problem with my yahoo email using windows 7 on my laptop Aspire, that's what's happening: I'm composing an email when all of a sudden, a key is struck or a shortcut or something, but what results is the police turns lowercase.  I tried to use the magnifying glass as a default option so I can at least read the emails until I have find it but it doesn't help, he enlarges but is distorted.  I want to know is how to get back my email to its normal font.  It did not appear on my other laptop nor has it affected other windows I have open at the same session.   Anything higher than 0.9em for example, 1em, 2em etc.

  Fonts can be specified in words ("BOLD", more "BOLD") or numbers (100 to 900).

• Can Ping but not connect via Remote Desktop - how to change the settings of the outside LAN adapter

  I have a Windows Server 2012 machine connected to a Windows 7 Pro machine via a switch.

  Internet is shared on the Windows Server and the port sharing network has a static ip address. Similarly, the port connected to the Windows 7 Pro has a static ip address. I was able to desktop Windows 7 remotely from the server without any problem until very recently.

  Recently, I had to change some properties of the LAN on the machines and I was changing the gateway by default for the Windows 7 Pro, when I was hunting from my remote desktop session and I was not able to reconnect since. I don't know if I accidentally blew the subnet or the default gateway, but I know for sure that I do not touch the part of the parameters ip address.

  In addition, I can't ping the server computer but I am not able to connect via RDP. Please suggest any possible causes and solutions for this case. Both computers are remote and I can connect via the internet to the server computer.

  As my title suggests, I'm trying to find out if there is a way to reset the settings of the adapter LAN from Windows 7 to my server and proceed from that.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  You use a color camera? coz usually 32 bit for a color image.

  If so, you can try the unique color Pane.vi extract to extract its Luminance component. It then becomes an 8-bit grayscale image.

  Plug an Out of Home of the supplier requires 5 "bleed on art submitted for some massive art... so, even at a quarter size exit I still can't go down the overall size of the file far enough into the plug. I plan just to submit the whole art with bleeding, built in canvas work, but until I do, I wanted to check and see if there could be a way to increase maximum bleeding allowed in Illustrator.

  I feel for you faced with what is one of the more complex software on the planet.  All of us out of our hair and banged my head against the wall at the same time.  But I promise you that, once you get the basics, like in the way things work in general terms, your progress will get faster and faster.

  One thing you could do is to put in place a custom workspace. Go to the window menu and open all the minor signs, including the character Panel and add them one at a time to the vertical column under history and properties.  Drag until you see a blue line at the top and output.  When you have an arrangement anything remotely like below.  Click on Essentials (top-right), then new workspace and give a name.  You can see that I called it Essentials 2

  The point of this exercise is that 1) you can easily access these panels and 2) it requires you to know they exist.

Check relative and the value of 1/2 inch in width and height.  Photoshop will calculate the number of pixels needs to add to increase the width and height 1/2 "and add 1/4-inch canvas on all sides.  If there is a background layer in Photoshop the extra pixels will be 100% opaque and the color can be set in the canvas size dialog box. Can be set to the color of the background sample.  If there is no background layer, the added canvas will be empty.

  I'm selling my Portege R830-10 q If I want to restore it to the settings to factory (out-of-box state) AND THEN TURN IT OFF.

  I brought the laptop to factory settings successfully using the _TOSHIBA recovery Wizard_ and choosing * factory default software recovery (Recover State out-of-box) *. However, at the end of the process of recovery and after everything is back in place I was not able to TURN off the POWER to the laptop. It only gave me the option to restart. After rephrasing it, the Windows installation process starts.

  I don't want to install Windows, i.e. language, keyboard, user account, etc. I want to leave the Windows installation for the person buying the laptop to me. How can I turn off the laptop after the recovery of the system without having to install Windows?

  When the recovery process is complete and you are prompted for a reboot just press start button / stop and turn it off. I think it's only thing you can do.

  Anyway, why not start Windows and go through the configuration option. New owner can modify this basic anyway parameters. As username Admin and language and the keyboard can be set as default.

  For example, if you have a picture of German recovery set to German. New owner can change in any case.
