  Hi all.

  I woke up this morning to find that my Tecra M9 doesn't let me access anything whatsoever on my desktop, including all documents and the internet.
  Whenever I click on a file, it appears with a message saying that the memory could not be read.

  Someone told me that it is caused by a virus and I have to use my drive for recovery back to the factory settings.
  Problem is that I have not all discs, because it is an old laptop work.

  Do anyone know where I can get hold of a recovery disc at a low price and I am likely to lose my OS?
  I'm not great when it comes to IT...

  Try the steps listed below and check if it helps you to restore files:
   
  a. do not close Outlook Express if you just delete the folder.   If I were you, I call HP and tell them that you do not want this computer with Win10.  They are very likely still sells machines with Win7 for businesses, because most companies do not affect the Win10 with a 10 foot barge pole.
