  jscher2000 I had to look for a "Community Toolbar' or a booster of the tab and after some looking at my add on (and removing obsolete plugins failed to correct the problem) I found the good"Community Toolbar' and after a disable and restart firefox, it worked. Thank you!

  Firefox window is an irrational dimension in normal mode, it can indicate a corruption of the file that stores the information of location/size of window. The usual medicine is to rename this file and let Firefox restart by using the default dimensions. Here's how:

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
  • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

  Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

  Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

  Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

  A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

  In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

  Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

  Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

  CHKDSK C: /r

  Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

  Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the multitasking window by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. You may need to search the Safari part covering scribbles to the left. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.
