  Whenever I try to access a blank tab, I can't to. I tried using the shortcut (command-T), by manually selecting 'new tab' and clicking on the sign (+) button on the tab. This question took place after my recent update of Mozilla.

  We have seen reports on an extension of community toolbar causing this problem of not being able to open a new tab.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  IM about to set fire to this laptop... I tried to set permissions which is what I read as a solution, but none still having the same problem.  I have a click with the right button on my c drive to try to get everyone is listed as having control over the files and click ok, still the same problem.  What is the result of a virus?   Hello

  Unless you have an idea, when it started and what changes have been made before the appearance of this problem (and by changes it could be software installation/uninstall, update existing software, make changes, etc), you should probably do a reinstall. If you have a Vista disc to the same level as the current installation, insert it and follow the instructions for an inplace upgrade. If you have a system pre-installed with recovery of manufacturer, follow their instructions.

  Randomly change file permissions should not solve your problems.

  Linux is a viable alternative, but it may suffer corruption as well, and you will probably find a real support to fail.

  The button refresh is combined with the stop buttons and is fixed on the right edge of the location bar (also known as the address bar).

  Recently, I noticed that I can not open the last closed tab (the choice is there, but is grayed out).
  Then, during the restart, I notice that the system does not restore the tabs visited - even if this choice is made in the Options.

  I recently installed KeePass and its extension in Firefox and it seems to work (I don't actually use it often). And, recently, I had a problem where the system would resize my pages (as if I hold down the CTRL key while scrolling to me.

  Several reboots corrected this problem - but now I can't resize by pressing the Ctrl and scrolling (while holding the Ctrl key and tapping the - key will be resize the window).

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem without a complete reinstall? I have been copying my Firefox profile from one computer to another over the years and I am worried about losing my data / preferences.
