  I printed out the status of the HP printer wizard pages.  They work very well.

  I ran printing HP and Scan Doctor v3.1 and all past.  However, when I try to print the test page, I get an error message saying cannot communicate with the printer.

  When I try to print from a different application, I get the same error.

  According to the Assistant of HP printer, the quality of the signal is a 4 (out of 5)

• I get a must activate windows error when trying to log in. I run windows activation and it is said that the product is already activated, click ok

  I reinstall windows xp on an old pc with my xpsp2 cd. I used the key of xp on the sticker and when you restart the computer after the initial installation I got a must activate windows to continue. I went through the process on the phone and typed in a bunch of numbers and then it came up saying that windows is activated. He put me to the login screen, when I click on administrator I always get the must activate windows.   You might be able to solve your immediate problem of the 30-day activation grace period has expired by resetting it. Follow these steps:

  1. If the computer can be started in a safe mode command prompt, do.

  2. at the command prompt, type this command exactly (space, caps and comma are required):

  Rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobeBnk

  3. restart.

  If you did it, your activation grace period will have been reset, giving you more time to work on the problem.

  No, because the limiting factor is the computer is USB 2.0, which is how it connects any external drive apart the external drive. As USB 2.0 is much slower, there is no real advantage to a 7200 RPM drive. What you need is a Firewire enclosure that supports FW800 which is much faster than USB 2.0.

  Thanks for the update.

  Make sure that the image is set to RGB in Photoshop.

  In addition, we suggest you follow the steps below:

  1. exit and then restart Photoshop

  2. go in the file menu > hover your mouse over Print > press and hold the space key

  3 try printing

  This would reset the printing preferences for Photoshop.
