Try this link and if that does not work then you will probably want to contact the manufacturer of your computer. I will also include links to contact information for support of the brand from the other computer. By the way you are welcome. One last thing, if you don't have a security software on your computer, I recommend you put it on there. I'll also include a link to download Microsoft Security Essentials if you don't have a Security Center on your computer.
Hope that all these information are useful and good luck... If you happen to still have trouble, I'll try to help you...

My laptop with Windows 7 (64-bit) can not see the other desktop PC running Windows XP via a wireless connection, except if it is plugged into my laptop so only I can see them on the network.
I checked all the working groups to ensure that all are the same. However, when my laptop into Wi - Fi, I could see the other wired desktop PC by specifying the network path in "search programs and files" to the start menu in the Windows 7 laptop, I was able to add network folder by specifying the drive letter for the connection and file I want to connect via a right click on the network to connect a network drive...
Then, finally I can access any other desktop pc wired to shared folder via the Wi - Fi by this method.
But I still don't see them on eventhrough network I can access by this method. Please help me solve this problem.

The turn of my computer in the start menu has changed to Shut Down
Can someone tell me how I can get check it off my computer back in the start menu? I now have what looks like the old classic style of 'Shut Down' with the screen following with a "Shut down Windows" dialog box.
Shut Down using works well but I prefer to return to "shut down the computer. Style Windows XP still appears for the rest, in other words I'm not "Classic view."
I must add that I have just completed a complete reinstallation of Windows XP and did a lot of restoration / importers etc. I'm not sure of what I was doing before turn off the computer Shut down Exchange. I prefer not to use system restore I'd lose a lot of work.

When I choose to print a document, I can see the printer in the list (it is default printer). When I highlight it it is know, the status displays "error". If we try to print, nothing happens. It's not even an error message. I have tried to solve this on my own, but will have no chance. Help, please.

Cannot restore my laptop-"Repair my computer" not appearing is not in the start menu
Once or twice in the past had to get my phone and it was an easy process thanks to the construction recovery option (computer repair) in the start menu (when you press F8 on the Toshiba screen), but now when I press F8 during the Toshiba screen and go to the boot options, there is no option to fix my computer. Fix my computer is usually the first option, but the first option is now "Start Windows in safe mode". Fix my computer disappeared! :(
I think that the cause of my problem is that I started my laptop using my friend's windows startup disk when my computer would not start a month back. In fact, he got my laptop going again, but after starting my laptop, he told me that there is a problem with the start and he asked if I would like to repair and restart, I did. In addition, the windows startup disk, I used to start my laptop computer is a 64-bit version and my laptop has a 32-bit operating system. I don't know if that makes a difference.
Could someone please help me by letting me know if there is anything I can do to get "Repair my computer" back. It is handy recover my computer when I want to just go back and get my laptop clocked in so it is better again.
Short answer:
There is nothing you can do about it except to include adjustments to plant again. I'm sorry. :( -
