  Sometimes, WinMail settings get screwed up and you must remove the account and then add it back back.  Make sure first that the antivirus software not interfere (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).   Delete your account completely, then close WinMail.  Then compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  Add your account to mail back once again, and then make sure you have the correct settings under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers and | Advanced to what AT & T Specifies to WinMail (or OE).  Then see if it works.

  It is relatively simple as you use and that you want to use WLM.

  You will need to copy a folder from where it is (the old installation) to another place where you know it will be (for example on your desktop)

  The folder is c:\users\your user name\app data (if it is not there, see the note below) \local\microsoft\

  At that point you will see a folder named oddly enough "windows live mail" copy on your desktop

  If you don't see the app data because it is invisible atm.  To make it visible, you need to go to your control panel > folder options > view > change to hidden folders (see figure)

  

  Once you have mail backed up on your desktop (or where ever) drag the folder from the desktop to the location for the new WLM (once again we C;-... just like above).  Just make sure that WLM does not run in time.  What wont be imported, it of passwords and rules.

  Accounts and data should now be in the new WLM when you open it.

  What do you mean by a complete system recovery? (Is it clean installation of the operating system)

When I got this error, I had a mid-2012 Mac Pro running El Capitan 10.11.2 and an Apple ATI Radeon HD5770.  You can't update the drivers with Apple, but El Capitan should have giving me the latest video drivers.

  First try to open but after loading everything it errored out with the "can't find a video playback device adapted." A very cryptic message in my way of thinking. They mean the monitor, video card or what?  In any case, I decided that I must have my video card, so I bought a 4 GB Nvidia GTX 970 MacCards.com card, put it in and got the latest drivers for it, than MacCards.com current guard.  This resulted in no gain. Always the same result right along with the exact error even after loading the PP2015.

  I reinstalled PPCC2015 yesterday and it still loads but never opens and gives me the same error.  I feel like even if I bought a new MacPro and reloaded all software CC, I'd still have the same result. Very depressed of not being able to run the software I pay for every month.

  Now, go to your OS hard drive and click on users, your user name, Documents.

  Find the adobe folder there.

  Right-click on the adobe folder and click get info.

  Thank you Joel S. Before I could put your advice into practice a friend recommended a friend who advised me to do a system restore, which he said he would be happy to do it for me. So look like an easy option, I agreed. It seems to have solved the problem (fingers crossed), but now it seems that I need to format the hard drive.   Import? How did you do that? If your messages in the folder named Recovered items under storage folders, were already (= even) in Windows Live Mail and needs no "importing." If they don't find their way into their appropriate automatically records (for example after closing, wait a few minutes and then restart the program a couple of times), you could just select messages and then do a right click and move to a folder.

  In Adobe send, you can receive notifications when a recipient views a file you send. This option is selected by default, but you can turn it off by selecting the file in the list of sent files, then clicking on the "eye" on the far right icon view the history of this file.

  Hi - Thanks for taking the time to answer for me. No, the problems don't moved earlier. My wife also has a near-dormant BTinternet account which is accessible from the Thunderbird even on the same computer. Which has proved to work very well. I found that there were many problems with the BT e-mail yesterday and my problem was resolved later (2 hours on the phone) by a very helpful Lady in BT who virtually rebuilt my account. Even my security questions were rejected. I think that BT Yahoo email had major problems yesterday and he had nothing to do with Firefox - so please accept my apologies if I've wasted your time.
