I can't remove mp3tube.

I don't know how I got mp3tube, but I tried to uninstall it with no luck.  Help, please...

I google for TWO WEEKS and none of you, the 'Experts' have had the answer. ..... That's why!

So... We will go.  I finally found the answer on the Mozilla Support Forums, a user named Carlo... And IT WORKS!

That said... Here you go... (Spreading the word):

"If you're like me and tried all the usual options (i.e. uninstalling, tools-> add-ons, the register, to research on: config) and none of them worked then you must modify two files in the config profile for Firefox."

You can find this typing "% APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" term (win 7 - could be the same for the others).

now looking for subfolders to "prefs.js" & "user.js".

Open these files (you must modify two files) in a text editor and look for the "keyword.url" and you will find the following:

user_pref ("keyword. URL', 'http://mp3tubetoolbarsearch.com/?prt=pinballtb02ff&Keywords=');

Replace by (if you want google):

user_pref ("keyword. URL', ' http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8 &q="); '.

Hope that helps and saves people the frustration I've had!
