    All my emails are missing from my laptop computer Inbox with Windows 8. My files are there and always contain messages that I put in memory.  I see my new messages in hotmail on my iPad, so I know they are somewhere!     How can I get my messages back and the ability to send messages?

    Well, if it's only the emails more than 14 days that are missing, you might want to check this option first:

    1. Open the Mail application, point to the right corner and then click on the settings icon which shows.
    2. Click accounts, then click on your account name
    3. Click on "Synchronize emails from the last 14 days" and change to a longer time range.

    If that still doesn't help, you could try to remove and re-add the account (which may or may not be an option at the bottom of this same form of parameters).

    If still no, here's how to remove and reinstall:

    1. On your screen, right-click on the icon for Mail to uninstall.
    2. Join the Mail app in the store here and install it again.
