• HP C6280 All in One Printer: unable to save the scanned document of multi page as on the single Document using the Preview on IMAC computer

  I recently reinstalled my drivers on my IMAC computer to correct some strange characters appearing when printing from Microsoft word via Parallels.  The relocation at this time and the time has fixed this problem.  My most recent issue is not able to save a scanned document of multi page into a document using an excerpt?  In the latest that I had to do was high brightness, scanned documents to be saved and presto, all were saved under one.  Now you have to go save each of them at a time.  If you have a 5-page document, you need to go through the registration process 5 separate time create several documents, which is a big waste of time.  I have also my C6280 DPL 100 size should be a problem, I think.  To correct even any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Welcome to the HP Forums! I'd love to help you analyze documents several pages in a single file. When you scan, you select PDF as the format scanning? When you select the PDF file, you should see an option to select, save all pages in a single file, or a variant of this option.

  If you do not see this, please post a screenshot of you scanning settings for I can visually identify the issue.

• File type by default when you save a scanned document.

  Currently when I scan in the documents to be saved in synergy (programme of work) I have to manually change the type of file to PDF format.  Is there a way to default showing all files when you save a scanned document?

• OfficeJet 6700: Cannot save a scanned document

  Today I did something I do very often, scan a few pages in a single file. But unlike other days, when I am trying to save the file (which has 3 scanned pages), save button shows idle and I can't save the file.
  The scanner window is always on, I can see 3 pages, but I can't save as save button is not clickable. Someone knows a must?
  
  The only thing I can think is that this morning I installed MacOS Sierra and life was suddenly big before it came. Still not sure if it's because as the new OS.

  Thanks for the information and shout it out.  It's always nice to be complimented.

  I checked this morning, and if you choose preview instead of scan, once the application has completed the analysis for the preview, it will return the same screen as on the #2 of screenshot.  So this isn't the question and I am not able to recreate the problem you have, no option to save after scanning.

  We will try to uninstall and reinstall the application.  You need activate the application again.

  As far as I know a scanned document is automatically saved as a .bmp or jpeg. This is because the ' scan ' is in fact a photograph of this document after scanned by your scanner. I could be wrong, but I don't think that you can actually save the document as a .doc file - well not unless you actually cut and copy the .bmp/jpeg file into a word document, and then save.

  However, the above is only my thoughts. Try posting the question in the forum of Word and see if someone else can give you more information.

  If the document has been converted to PDF by the OCR scanner program then the signature may have been left as an image embedded in the PDF file. In this case, it is possible to distance the image of the signature does not appear on their PDF reader.

  Scan the document signed as an image and recheck the attachment before you send it. If they can see the image, they can see your signature, because the two will be part and parcel of the same thing.

  I am currently not able to print or scan documents with my Canon MG2470 printer (2400 series), that worked perfectly until a few days ago.

  I tried to reinstall the software of the printer, including the driver, but the latter does not settle.  The control panel displays a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark against the Canon 2400 printer, but when I "fix" the problem, it remains unresolved.  Accordingly, my 'Cute pdf writer' is set as the default printer that is not of much use.

  Regarding documents scanning with the same printer, I now get the error code 5156.69 to come, but I don't seem to be able to solve this problem either.

  Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

  This problem can occur because of corrupt drivers, incompatible drivers, due to the printer settings, missing updates, and problems with the printer.

  If you have Acrobat Reader you cannot save a document turned, because you can not actually turn the document (only the current view). You do have Acrobat Pro?

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see that you experience a problem when you try to scan pictures on your computer.

  When you see the error ' not enough available memory (RAM) on the computer to complete the scan", try to reduce the number of photos of 93 to May 10 at a time.

  Just to let you know, RAM is not related (480 GB) of hard drive space. RAM for Random Access Memory, and what that means is that it uses the RAM memory to deal with the tasks you are working on.  If you have a lot of things being processed, the computer can not manage it, and you will get the error you received.

  I don't know what printer/scanner you use and probably, it wouldn't matter, but I had HP and Epson all - in-ones and everyone I've had has given you the ability to save on the PC and also as a PDF file. It is in the options, what do you see for the scanner when you set up the scan.

  You still have the manual? You can probably find a download if you do not. Just do a search for the manual of the printer model.

  Maybe the disc is set up to have a 2 GB limit on the size of the file, for example if it is in FAT32 in Windows format. To check the format of your disk. Ask if you don't know how.
