  • Need help as soon as POSSIBLE! I can't turn the volume on Windows Live Movie Maker and video is slow

I'm reading a file .mov on Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 Version (Build 15.4.3555.0308). I had to install the media player codec pack (version 4.2.3.1001 the file) in order to get the video to play on WLMM and he finally managed to where I could see the video, but now will not play sound. I went into Edit and the Volume of the video and mute is activated, but he won't let me not reactivate the sound by clicking on it. The scroll bar can slide backwards, but does not make a difference. Already, I went and "repaired" Windows Live Movie Maker in my programs. The video has sound when he played on Windows Media Player isn't the video or the speakers.

In addition, the video is very slow and jumpy. It's almost as if it was in slow motion or something.

Help, please!  I need to have this video made as soon as POSSIBLE. I need to be able to start editing here tomorrow!

  • Can't see the video on Windows 8

I recorded several programs on Windows Vista Home premium.  I recently bought a computer with Windows 8.   I can hear audio from programs I registered but can not see the video.  What are the options are open to me?   Do I need to buy the upgrade to Windows 8?

The registered item is probably just out of date.  I don't think that there are a lot of options.  If there are alternatives, I don't have to aware of them.

  • Why the version of Windows 7 to Windows DVD Maker product a blurry video of Windows Live Movie Maker?

When I do a DVD (using Windows DVD Maker) of a film produced by Windows Live Movie Maker photos are blurred and contained very low quality video.  The photos that I use in the project are very sharp, as is the video that I use in the project.

The movie makes WLMM project is strong on the computer but when it is published on the DVD in Windows DVD Maker it produces a result blur this film as seen on the computer and any DVD player.  It's nothing to do with transitions because the film WLMM is strong.  Other DVD manufacturers produce a sharp image of the film WLMM even, but I prefer the way Windows DVD Maker makes the DVD with scenes, etc...

The problem seems to lie with the WLMM. creating Windows DVD DVD movie conversion - are they incompatible?  This seems to happen with the version of Windows 7, everything worked fine with versions of Vista on my old computer.  I find it very frustrating to have this return back.  Please suggest a solution.  The version of WLMM is Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3502.0922); I can't find a version number for Windows DVD Maker.

    Update:

Thanks to Irfan for a potential solution.  I did another DVD with all the filters off but unfortunatey it made no difference.  Having had another close watch the DVD video, the problem is to double everything up like a photo on a slow speed where you have shaking of the camera.  In particular, a girl with wire rim glasses has a rim double wire and even a girl with hair each double strand.  When further looked at what gives the appearance of an image finery.  Again, I must say that the film from which the DVD-video has been done had this failure and from DVD of this film by any other manufacturer of DVD Windows DVD Maker does not exhibit this problem.  The operating system is Windows 7.

    Hello Charley Farley,

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

You may experience this problem of there are incompatible filters installed on your computer. I suggest that you turn off the filters and check if you have the same problem.

  • After the installation of Windows Live Movie Maker, I can no longer connect to the MS Community

Original title: suddenly I can not connect to the Microsoft Community

I present this post on a second computer.  Up to a few hours, after I installed Windows Live Movie Maker, I can no longer connect to the Community MS on my other PC.  When I click on 'Sign In' to the MS Community Home Page, I get only a blank, even if his tab page says "connect to your Microsoft account.

I think the problem is in IE because I can sign correctly using Chrome or Firefox.

Can someone shed some light on this problem and we hope to provide a solution?

I have a similar problem on this computer and I am trying to solve the problem. I managed to connect to the Microsoft Community forums by opening Internet Explorer InPrivate browsing. This is only a workaround until I have solve the underlying problem.

PIN Internet Explorer in your taskbar, do a right click on the new icon in the taskbar and select start InPrivate browsing. You can then enter the web address of the Microsoft Community and it should open the community forum. If you click on connect, you will be presented with the Login Page. Unfortunately, please follow this procedure complicated, whenever you want to connect to the community.

On this computer I can connect to other services that require registration to the Microsoft Account for example TechNet. The problem is only with the Microsoft Community forums.  What version of IE are you using?

A suggestion if you are using Internet Explorer 9, 10 or 11.

Access your profile. Make sure that you have connected. Click all Threads, click on the star to the top right of the screen (you need to press F11 to see if you're reading full screen), click the scroll right to add it to Favorites, and then select Add to Favorites bar. Change the long name for something memorable, and you can immediately access your son in your Internet Explorer Home Page.

First of all, I have to ask what is the Format (extension) of your
saved file. If the extension WLMP... it's a project file
and not a video file. If you have saved it as a video in the
. Format WMV Movie... the following information may be useful:

If the file size is too large for e-mail... you could download
the file to a site as follows and then send it

On the left, click on the Browse button and it will open a window
allows you to access the files on your hard drive.

Navigate to the folder that your video is and select it.

On the left, click on the download button.

When the download link appears... left click copy
button, then click right and paste the link in an email
    message to your recipients.

Recipients can download the video file as follows.

On the left, click the link in the e-mail message.

    When the SendSpace site load.

Scroll down a little and left, click on the blue text *.

I made a movie out of a lot of short sections of music video, added and now cannot save it - it gets 65% and then said only: "unable to save". I used the camera several times before to capture videos and music never comes from the same source as, so I don't understand what goes wrong. The amount of information is too big for Windows Live? If so, how re - record video films library so that it is formatted with less info in there?

  • No noise video in Windows live movie maker

I worked on a project of machine to windows live movie. Today I started to edit to find the videos that I imported have NO sound. So I checked again the volume option for video editing and it turned all the way to the top. I tried import videos, and what program changes the videos open with. Nothing seems to work. He worked less than a week ago, I don't know what has changed or how to fix it. Any suggestions?

It is possible that your project becomes too
large and/or complex.  In addition, there may be a
compatibility issue with one or more of your
    source files.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  • Hi, I'm trying to use Windows Live Movie Maker to create a movie. The film is in MP4 format and the program does not allow me to open to make a new film. Windows Media Player does not play either.

    =============================================
The dialog box that you quoted says "Project file" in Windows Live Movie Maker
It would be a file with an extension WLMP. Or if the file was created with
an earlier version of Movie Maker, it can have an extension .mswmm.

So... just to clarify... MP4 extension or WLMP or something else?

If the files are MP4, you will need to convert them to WMV format before
    import into Movie Maker.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup250.zip
(FWIW... installation..., you might want to
Uncheck all of the boxes on the last screen)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

For information on playback of MP4 files... the following article may be worth a visit:

  • Publication of video problem on Windows Live Movie Maker

I'm trying to publish my first video on Windows Live Movie Maker, and whenever I try to post it on YouTube or whatever, I get a pop up window that says, "the system cannot find the path specified."

Is someone can you please tell me how I can help the system to find the path?

    Hi hershey992,

Have you tried to publish any another video?

First, you try to copy and paste the file published on another location on the hard disk, and then try to upload to YouTube.

Music and video files that are protected by the management of digital rights (DRM) cannot be used in Windows Live Movie Maker.

Try installing codecs and check whether the problem is resolved.

You can use your favorite search engine to download and install the Codecs.
