Outlook Express v 6.0. without doubt, 2000-2003. Windows XP operating system
My ISP is the post office. I have 3 email accounts of separate post office that work very well. I have also 2 e-mail addresses of tiscali set up in Outlook Express accounts, as well as 3 my post office accounts. I can receive emails in addresses tiscali but my problem is that I can't send email on the part of Auditors 2, tiscali. I get various error messages, for the most part No. 0X800CCC79 error. I tried literally everything change and change the details and parameters in the 'Accounts' menus, but whether, I can't send emails for 2 accounts tiscali. Any suggestions?
If you are not connected to a service, then often you cannot send through the service to block spam. Othertimes, it depends on appropriate settings. So you should contact the provider tiscali (or check their website for the OE settings) and tell them, you are connected via a different provider and try to send and they have an alternative setting that you can use. It depends on the provider.

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

The fact that you receive spam means that you don't have a connection to the ISP yet may not be entirely correct - in particular the SMTP section responsible for sending emails. It seems that Avast is blocking messages from anyone not in your contacts list (much too tight fixed). Disable the function of checking email and see if that solves the problem. If so, run it without the option of e-mail enabled - it does not really help as long as you take normal precautions (as not to open attachments from people you don't know / trust and things like that). If you don't know how to disable this feature, contact technical support Avast (I do not use the product so I don't know how, but it's probably under Options or something like that). How do others read their emails via Outlook Express when they are away from their computer at home?
Most ISP (Internet Service Providers) also provide Webmail online.
Check if your ISP doesn't do that.
Are they doing, wherever you are > go to the website of your ISP > Webmail > log in with your account details of configuration of Outlook Express Email (username and password) > read/delete/create a message from there.

You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.
Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

To import contacts and email from Hotmail addresses in your Outlook Express address book:
- Set up access to your Hotmail account in Outlook Express.
- If you already have contacts in your address book Outlook Express for the current identity and want to make sure that you only import Hotmail contacts, create a new Outlook Express identity for the Hotmail account.
- Select Tools | Address book... from the menu in Outlook Express.
- Choose Tools | Synchronize now in the menu of the address book.
- If this choice is not available, make sure that you do not share contacts between Outlook Express and Outlook. Close and restart Outlook Express if you have made any changes to the contact sharing settings.
- To import the contacts in a program other than Outlook Express e-mail, export the address book from the current identity and use the import feature of your mail client to add contacts from the .csv file.
- Set up access to your Hotmail account in Outlook Express.
