  I can open the easyshare folder and choose the photo I have to use by dragging to the photo tray, but can't get any further.
  Also if I goto 'my documents' click on 'my photos' I am able to open the folder where I moved to and choose the photo I want to use, but yet again, I can't further.

  It is possible to send a text message (SMS) to a phone by email (look for "sms e-mail gateway"), but I don't know if you can join this way, i.e. MMS pictures. The simplest method would be for the recipient create an e-mail account on the phone. If they can't or won't, but they can access the web via a browser, I guess you could upload photos on one of the free file hosting services photo and send them links using the email-to-text method mentioned above.

  Try this:

  Quit all applications: Double click on the Home button and the sliding of the application for each open application preview page

  then

  Force reboot: press and hold the sleep/wake and Home buttons and do not let go until the screen darkens and the Apple logo appears (no data is lost)

  Contact your operator. SMS/MMS is a function of the carrier, which is what you use when sending non - iOS devices. You must have a texting plan and one that includes the MMS to send pictures.

  Do not dial a number. Try to choose a contact in the contacts App and tapping on telephone button.

  That said, I don't think that outgoing calls work on continuity since another iPhone. given that the iphone is designed to make calls through its own service.

  Document to support that you just did not mention calls from a secondary iPhone at all, it points to Mac, iPad and iPod touch, which leads me to believe that it won't work.

  Did you go back to settings > Messages and activate iMessage again?
