Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

1. which is the game that you are talking about?

2. What is the full error message?

3. How did you uninstall the game? Is it through "programs and features"?

    Hello

    Welcome.

To resolve this problem, you must install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility as administrator. To do this, right click on the Setup file (msicuu2.exe) and choose Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    All the best!

  • How can I uninstall PC games Toshiba laptop Windows 8 OS?

At the age of 73, I have absolutely no interest in the applications of games that have been installed on my laptop. I tried to uninstall, right click on each application, clicking the option to uninstall at the bottom of the page. Which brings me to the page of the Control Panel, but not lists not gaming applications in Control Panel files, nor it accentuates what Microsoft in Control Panel file which contains games. For this purpose there is no mention as to what file to uninstall. Has anyone successfully uninstalled apps "games"? If this isn't the case, Microsoft, you could do us a real favor by issuing an update that would solve the problem for those who want to uninstall the games feature. Thanks in advance for any helpful information. Jim

You can try the following open file Explorer, my computer, check the two programs, programs (86 for the games you want to uninstall, once found open, open each games separately, and click on uninstall.) This should take care of your problem. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

  • How can I uninstall/reinstall the games?

I'm having a problem of the pixalating to display only when I try to play all the games that come with Windows 7, hearts, Minesweeper, etc.. There are no other games installed. This is on a Dell Studio 1537 laptop. When I open any game, there are small, vertical lines of black horizontal lines across what is on the diesplay. When she did this, the title bar also has these horizontal lines through it. These lines through the title bar will be carried over to Word, Excrl, or any program, I opened up a restart. I can only do these lines appear after the opening of a game. Reference Dell already has replaced the motherboard, cable and display two days ago, and it is always the case. How can I uninstall these games from my laptop and copy the same games my win7 desktop and install on my laptop? Is there a way to put a photo here that would do what I'm trying to explain having easier? Thank you.

    Mark,
Yes, deleting and reinstalling would be a good step.  I would start by updating the video card driver.  Make sure you get the latest driver on the card manufacturer site. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • I can't reinstall a game after that I had a few problems to uninstall.

    From: 7455green

Recently, I uninstalled a game (using the uninstall program) and if l could say uninstall went well, all files have been removed etc. However, to install the game again l have found my PC still think that the game is installed (it always appears under programs and features). I can't select install on the autorun of the CD, l have also tried manually looking at the files on the CD and selecting "setup" but this requires just an uninstall program that makes no difference. Selection to remove the program from the programs and features also makes no difference. I tried everything listed on the windows help site and couldn't find anything that worked, and the developer has no information on this subject.  Basically is it a way of saying to my PC that l've already uninstalled the game? Or anything left that could be telling my PC otherwise?

I use Vista Home Premium and the game is Baldur's Gate 2

    See you soon!

    From: Andy [YaYa]

Will probably have to delve into the registry editor, look for entries of Baldur's Gate and remove them. I won't tell you how, because, well, it's dangerous.

You can try a program called ccleaner.

    http://www.CCleaner.com
It should detect that there is registration for BG2 on your system, even if the game has disappeared and remove these erroneous entries.

Just look at yourself, I recommend usually modify your registry.

Oh, before you do this, run the system restore and click on the link to "open the System Protection", then create a restore point in case where you mess up something.

    (1) i) go to windows features (programs and feature--> select enable the windows feature disable)
(II) develop the games and uncheck inkball
    (III) click ok

    (2) to go to c: Program files microsoft games-->--> remove the inkball here itself

Hope that this would be useful for you.

  • my computer is set at 1024 x 768 was a d/l on a new game offered... now have borders and can not play all games

If anyone can help... the game was offered by a site of game trust I used three years only had problems is their game 'brands' offered once a year at thanksgiving... the original size said it I read would be OK for my computer to manage... but when the game is released I honestly has not verified the size of output... so I downloaded... played some time... couldn't understand why the screen captures was different... stuck... game had many moments video... well at the time where they worked well... but this is not the end... I went back to my regular Web and page that if there are have been many members 'upset' about how this game had somehow black borders at the top and to the right... THEN... I uninstalled both the game and the "game Manager", messed with the settings (does not), so together, return to the original, checked the aspect ratio, ran chkdsk diagdx, changed the page sizes, is off the computer (it worked the last time when this happened)... now always have the toolbar down showing status "pressed upward" and MY games are WAY OUT of size when I try to play , can't read the bottom at all... just had the computer fixed and updated August 2012 and all concerning this site of game WORKED!... now am in his life ' *' b/c I have over 400 + more games I can't play, unless I guess what the devil is required by the screenshot... I advised this site of game with a report to 'fix'... but I can't afford to change anything in the singles at this time to "just run" their "game of the year"... I'm so disappointed that I thought "don't try this year" that last year was a 'warning' in this game of 2011 did not play, at least he told me "at the front" that I have not "video card" updating will not spend the money on a card just for ONE GAME!... Sorry to vent but it's the party of four days and my game is now limited to about one "status doesn't play..." I am grateful, he has not messed with the regular functions that I use on a daily basis... but the boders are still showing when I opened my system... not good! I have an acer monitor that makes an "AutoFix"... I wonder if that's a problem?... can't believe a game can do this problem with the normal screen display? Thanks, if you suggestions, I have forgotten let me know... simply flustrated!... vk
