  • the software is impossible to uninstall adobe reader XI. Missing acroread.msi

    Hello

Sophie never came back, so we do not know if it has ever solved its problem, but it worked for most people. You can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then you can download the full Setup offline reader for the version you want from

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

    Hi Rhonda,

There is no uninstall for Mac Reader program. You can directly delete the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app. Also, this can cause a break in the features of Safari to read PDF files using Adobe Reader plugin. To resolve this problem, go into/Library/Internet Plug - Ins / and remove AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

  • How can I download adobe reader 11

I am running windows 7 and can't download adobe reader. The download stops about 75% of the way in which the process, and a message states that Windows install does not update of managed advertised products. At least one characteristic of the product must be installed before applying the update. I had the drive on your computer but uninstalled because I couldn't print documents. I uninstalled it all over the place I was not able to install it again.

You can try to use this tool to remove all traces of the previous versions of the player:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then you can download the offline Player Setup of

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

  • Manually uninstall adobe reader 9

I tried to uninstall adobe reader 9 through the windows feature to add/remove program, but all files and folders have not been deleted.

There is a way to manually remove the files and registry keys or a removal tool?

    You can try the following:

Run this fix from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

Uninstall all traces of all versions of reader using Add/Remove programs

If you want to reinstall Reader, download from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Cannot update or uninstall Adobe Reader 9 on Windows 7

I get a message to update Adobe Reader, but when I try I get a message:

«Update to uninstall adobe could not open not hkey-local-machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrent\\\ version\run\optionalcomponants\imail»

I also tried to uninstall through Control Panel. Watch it uninstall with a progress bar, then the same error message at the top, and the progress bar goes in the opposite direction until eventually there is no uninstalling Adobe Reader.

Is there another way to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader? Are there instructions available somewhere to uninstall Adobe Reader manually include the registry keys that you want to uninstall Adobe Reader 9? I've seen instructions step by step for older versions, but I don't know if those would be the same for later versions such as Adobe Reader 9.

    You can try the following.

Remove all traces of drive (and not only the program) of your system using the Windows Installer Cleanup utility. It is no longer supported by Microsoft because it can produce problems with Win 7, but you can always download it from places like

    http://MajorGeeks.com/download.php?Det=4459

Then download the installer of the reader of

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

    and perform a clean installation.
