I can't uninstall iTunes or quicktime... HELPPP

Hello

I hope you can help, im out of my mind trying to solve this problem. It all started when I tried to buy a song, he came to say component 42404 is missing. So I reinstalled, and that did not help at all, he said that my installation itunes.msi is missing and can not uninstall. I also have problems with bonjure, in other words and as corefoundation. DLL is missing and something about an image for corefoundation, I'm not that sure who says, because he died so fast. What should I do? I can't delete anything to reinstall, because it cannot find the displays of packages. MSI.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

  • Can't uninstall iTunes because of itunes.msi file missing.

I click on itunes error icon problem with shortcut that this action is only valid for products that are currently installed. First I tried to search for the file, no luck. I tried the system restore. I tried "winrar" apparently there are no files to extract. I also tried "Ccleaner" is there anything else I can do I tried for 48 hours!
This is the error message when the uninstall - the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. Click Ok and try again, or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'itunes.msi' in the box below. I ran a search and found a file through the opening of the selected path and an error message saying that it is not a valid package for the itunes program. try to find the itunes.msi in a folder from which you can install itunes.

  • How can I uninstall iTunes 12.5 to 12.4?

I have a mac and the new iTunes is horrible. the new look wastes a lot of space, thumbnails of the artist are all gone, the look is terrible! Especially when I'm trying to get rid of this horrible update and downgrade, Mac prevents and blocks saying Mac OS needs iTunes and it cannot be changed. If users are blocked. Have I said it's also HORRIBLE? I can't believe that a company would force its users to comply with these changes without giving them all the options. It's like they don't even care what their customers think! iTunes 12.4 was not perfect, but I was comfortable with it. At least, it's much better than the disaster that is iTunes 12.5. Help, please!

  • Try to uninstall iTunes

Impossible to uninstall itunes - error tells me that I do not have this server network. I have all the steps up to 9 completed & will try that next, but still waiting for a response!

I can't uninstall or reinstall QuickTime or iTunes. I am running Windows XP.

Received a new computer, but the saved music. iTunes, originally worked fine.

    I have taken several steps.

    1. with the help of Add/Remove Programs, I tried to uninstall QuickTime and iTunes. The two uninstall failed because of "missing .msi file." Using search, I find quicktime.msi in Windows and tried to uninstall again, this time directing the program uninstaller in the folder where fichier_MSI resided.

    2. has received the error "strives to access a network or a disk that is no longer available.

    3. I contacted Apple support by phone. Tech walked me through the download and installation of iTunes, but received the same mistakes. He suggested I have contact the Windows Support.

    4. the search through questions, I found this point.

Here is what has been proposed and I'll try, I don't know where to find the Windows Installer CleanUp utility program.

    6. I used the HP online help program and reported the errors as above, requesting help to find missing msi file. Answer: "you must first uninstall the ITunes of the components of the computer and re-install the latest version of iTunes."

    7. I'd like to! But I can't do it with the old files that won't uninstall, that's why I contacted them in the first place.

Then I tried manually delete all the files I could find who was inside QuickTime files, however, some files not can be removed.

    9. now iTunes will not work because it indicates that the files are missing.

    10. open the program from my pc (which is how I got from HP support) and sought assistance error codes. He directed me to Microsoft technical support.

    11. I found similar error codes that were set by using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.

    12. I downloaded the utility opened by instructions and sought the list of programs that may be uninstalled. He registered iTunes, but not QuickTime. I used it to uninstall iTunes.

    13. returned to Apple, downloaded program iTunes, but error code says: "unable to remove an older version of QuickTime. Contact your technical support group. »

Hoping that Microsoft can help. How can I get the old files to uninstall when the cleanup utility cannot locate? I can not uninstall files, nor can I reinstall fresh versions.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your best resource for addressing this situation isn't necessarily technical support from Apple, but Apple's iTunes forums.  These forums, like this one, are met, not by Apple employees (or in this case, the employees of Microsoft), but are a place where users can help each other.

Forum: Installation & update iTunes for Windows

It is possible that the Windows Installer Cleanup utility would help, but given the State of your system, it is not sure that you would be better or worse off.  The usual technique would be to run the Installer Cleanup Utility, and then try to re - install iTunes, then (if desired) uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, Hello, update the software Apple, Apple Mobile Device Support and Apple Application Support. Seethis article .

Microsoft has removed the utility install Microsoft Downloads Cleanup because sometimes it seems "damaged other components" (which I guess means that he "cleaned up" things that should have been left alone).  If you want to try it, you can always get it from Major Geeks .

I agree with PML, use Apple iTunes forums, they can be a real useful sometimes.

  • Can I uninstall and reinstall iTunes

When I open iTuned, I see a spinning reel. I have to force to leave iTunes to close. How can I uninstall and reinstall iTunes in El Capitan?

iTunes is now part of the operating system and cannot be uninstalled manually.  To reinstall iTunes, OS X will need to be resettled by the recovery mode.  Reinstall OS X cannot be the appropriate to take troubleshooting measure.  It seems that iTunes becomes insensitive to the launch, try to test the issue in a new user account.
